This ramen place? It's not just a restaurant, it's a relationship. We've been seeing each other for 6 months now, and the spark hasn't faded! We dream about the broth, fantasize about the noodles... honestly, we should probably get their wallpaper on our phones at this point. The classic ramen is SO good, we haven't even dared to explore the rest of the menu. Maybe next time... or the next...

The ambiance of Cha Menya is aesthetic, beautiful and relaxing. The service and food were impeccable! We had the karage and ika for starters. They were delicious! The ika especially exceeded my expectations. For mains we had the triple shrimp and the tsukemen. Both were delicious but my favorite was the tsukemen. Everything in both ramen's were cooked perfectly and the both was amazing.

Some of the best ramen I've ever had!We started with enoki - crispy fried enoki mushrooms. They were perfectly fried and delivered in a bowl in sheets of several mushrooms cooked together. Then, we had the Classic Ramen and the Yasai Ramen. The Classic was one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. The broth is a milky, pork-bone tonkotsu broth with a rich umami flavor. It had quite a few slices of pork in the soup that were delicious. The Yasia bowl has a vegetable-based shoyu broth. In both, there were incredibly creamy soft-hard boiled eggs. The service was great. The appetizer came out fairly quickly and the ramen came out just as we were finishing the appetizer. The prices were quite reasonable. The restaurant is very small, so plan accordingly on busy nights. The tables were nicely spaced and the music playing was modern and upbeat.

Nice small ramen restaurant with limited seating. We had the dumplings, tofu salad, classic ramen and Chestnut dessert. Everything turned out fantastic. I especially liked the Classic ramen. The eggs were awesomely made, and the Chia Siu was not dry and tough; perfect. Price was very reasonable. I was especially impressed with how 1 waitress was able to manage a full house Friday night that well; kudos.

Small space, but comfortable seating. They have a very small lot right next to the restaurant, but you might have to move your car out in the middle of your meal for other patrons leaving. Mom and pop shop. "Mom" is very nice. She handles the front with orders. You can scan a QR code to order if you prefer not talking. The Karaage is tender with a light crisp. The sauce adds a slight kick, which boosts the flavor. Great appetizer to start with. As its name represents, Cha (Tea) Menya (Noodle Shop) specializes in their tea ramens, but I'm actually a bigger fan of their non tea ramens! The Tsukemen has springy noodles, thick pieces of chashu, which were fall apart tender, and a perfectly jammy egg. The broth has a strong garlicky flavor, and is slightly overly salty but it's meant for dipping not drinking straight. Did I still dr ink it straight? Of course... can't waste that delicious broth! The Yuzu Shio Ramen has very plump clams. The soup is light, but flavorful. Great balance with the citrus and seafood. Both the Hojicha and Matcha Ramen have very strong tea flavors. It's certainly a unique combo of flavors, as well as texture. If you're not a fan of the teas, you won't be a fan of these ramens. The Yuzu Grapefruit Tea has real fruit pieces. It is very refreshing. Helps balance out the heavy broth of the Tsukemen. The Cold Brew Teas come in a big glass cold brew tea bottle (~24 oz). Very refreshing tea. It does take a while to brew, but the longer it sits the stronger the tea! Loved the bottle so much, I got myself the bottle off Amazon! Azuki Matchapresso is a unique combo. On the sweet side (for me personally, I'm not a sweet tooth), but overall a tasty combo. The portion sizes overall are pretty good. One of the best ramen spots in Queens. Definitely check it out, especially if you love ramen and tea!

Stopped in for a quick bite today. The 2 dishes I had were really good. The fried chicken was tasty and crunchy on the outside while still juicy on the inside. The Ramen had such a wonderful earthy flavor with lovely umami. You order on your phone by scanning the code at the table and your food comes out promptly. The staff was helpful and quite nice. The restaurant is small, with about seven tables.

2023.08 they have classic ramen and mocha soup ramen. They have many Japanese beer to choose from. Regarding the ramen, only if you like mocha or like to try new stuff. Otherwise you may not like their signature mocha soup ramen. It is chicken breast, very strong and thick mocha soup. It is thick noodle, with egg and few thin slice of eggplant. classic is thin noodle.

The temporary closed now, but I went last weekI have marked this restaurant for a while. For appetizer, all of Tofu Salad, Crispy Chicken and Enoki (Crispy friend organic enoki mushroom) taste good. Tofu Salad is very fresh, with little sweet and sour sauce. Crispy Chicken is so tender and juicy. My friend said Enoki is too oily but I think it's okay, it's little salty and very crispy since it has been fully deep fried. For dessert, we ordered Chestnut Mont Blanc and Red Bean Mocha Latte. For the main dish and ramen, we tried 4 different one. Hojicha Ramen it's not bitter at all(since other customers said Matcha Ramen will be very bitter), and it taste very fresh and special. I think this is the first and only tea base ramen I have ever tried. Most of my friends like Triple Shrimp, it's rich of seafood taste, with shrimp sauce base, topping and fried shrimps.I love Wagyu Ramen the most, it's little expensive, take $30+, but I think it's still worthy. The Wagyu melt in your mouth once you take a bite.Yuzu Ohio is lighter than other ramen, yuzu is also a very special ramen base as well. All of the ramen are special and tasty, it's the best Ramen in New York that I have tried for now. However, the only thing dissatisfied me is that the ramen came up toooooo slow. Appetizer came first but we have waited around 30 mins for the ramen.I think this restaurant is more for 2-3 people hangout, not good for big group.

Love the ramen here!!! The broths they offer is not your typical ramen broth that you find in almost all the spots opening up everywhere in queens and LI but it’s amazing. Can’t go wrong with the classic ramen or the shoyu ramen. If you want to splurge, their wagyu ramen is def something to experience.Ask for hot chili on the side if you want a little kick to the flavor. We always leave with matchapresso in to-go cups after our meal. Delish!!!

The noodle and the broth is authentic. It is a small cozy place, but pack with flavor. We would definitely revisit again.
