My brother and I went to Gula for brunch on NYE. It wasn't busy, but it's a small space, there were 3 other tables: 2 two tops and 1 ten top. Our server, Talia, was friendly and attentive. The brunch drink menu is limited with only a orange juice mimosa flavor. The white and red sangrias are an "acquired taste", tart and strong. Place was empty and music was a little loud. Beware undisclosed: Waitress tacked on 18% gratuity automatically even for only a table of two. This is normally accepted for party of 6+, not 2!. Unlikely to return given the deceptive hidden practice. Now we know Why they were empty.
