Best halal cart in nyc , & I’ve tried many. Been here for 30 years and it never lets me down. I recommend chicken shawarma platter or lamb gyro sandwich . Falafel is also amazing aswell as the fried eggplant

I just moved a few blocks from here and stopped by on a Friday for a late afternoon lunch. The cart was jumping with about 15 people coming up and ordering while I waited for my food. I got the chopped kofta with rice and it was excellent (and I’m not even a huge fan of this kind of food). The white sauce was great; the hot sauce was a little weak but still good; the rice was well done; but most importantly, the complimentary fried eggplant was one of the best things I’ve...

The front guy was nice and quick to take my order. And i got it quite immediately. The food, chicken shawarma platter, was tasty as well. The rice seemed somewhat of poor quality thou!!
