Do not waste your money here, no water serve to you but you have to pay tips, most of our food has no flavor beside the beef. We order scallops it’s 7$ , they only give u 1 scallop with some noodles, waste of money. We spent 50 and feel like eating nothing. Avoid

The food is delicious BUT they don't do delivery and they don't know English. I call so i can ask how much is the skewers the woman spike only in chinese. I give one star because i know the food but they don't do delivery! They don't speak any English! And the lady was very rude i have ask her many times how much in English and she only reply only in another language. I am not racist I really wanted to learn how much it costed the food but she didn't even understand anything I said to her.

Cute little spot in Elmhurst that sells northern style food. They sell Chinese bbq on sticks (prices are little bit higher than the ones you get from the corner carts) and the way they seasoned it, it's soooo good! Their dumplings are also really yummy as well. Beef malatang is also another favorite of mine.

The staff was friendly and nice, the food was filled with flavor to eat but unfortunately the food was too oily and it gave me a sore throat. When I made an order of scallop there was literally only a piece of scallop with a bowl of vermicelli noodles. I don’t know that’s how it’s supposed to be prepared. Overall, the food has flavor, but too much oil.

Food tastes good, but they’ve charged me twice for items that they never delivered or served. Make sure that you check your order count before leaving or they’ll steal your money.

Five stars for the food, which is authentic, spicy, fresh, and delicious. Reasonable prices too, especially for the soups (~$9). -1 star for the service. The staff clearly favor Chinese-speaking people, as they get suddenly much nicer when you speak to them in Chinese. So if you want good service, lead with Chinese.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! My mom and I went in earlier to order and the old lady at the counter was so rude. Asked her a few question about the food to make sure we order the right thing and she seemed annoyed that we were asking so many questions. We asked if they had dry hot pot because we didn't see it on the menu. The lady said yes. We then asked if there were veggies like cabbage and she said yeah. Then when we got home and opened the order, it didn't look right so we called back to make sure that we got the right order. She went on and on about how it was how they did it. Paid $25 for something I can get at a Chinese takeout restaurant for $10. SO RUDE!!!

Stumbled upon this restaurant in Elmhurst. There's a huge selection of foods-- from skewers to seafood to meats. I had to try all. My favorite is the gizzard and beef skewers, the chili crab and the pickled soup. Everything tasted so fresh. The owners are from Northern China so be careful of the spice level. I will definitely come back and try their other foods. This place reminded me of the foods in Shanghai except healthier. Definitely a must try!

Authentic northern style Chinese food with lots fresh spicy dishes- 5 stars.Servers indifferent to customers - 1 star. ?they act as if they’re in mainland China. Authentic behavior like those small shops in northern China.Pro tip - they’re not going to come around and ask for your needs, be prepared to yell at them for services. We got a tipping culture here, they need to up their game in services… but the food is great! ???
