This restaurant specializes in Northeastern Chinese cuisine, a style that's not commonly found in Chinese restaurants across the U.S.
Compared to Sichuan, Cantonese, or Shanghai cuisine, Northeastern dishes are known for their bold flavors and generous portions, especially the stews and hot pots that are uniquely characteristic of the region.
This restaurant does an excellent job of showcasing the authentic flavors of Northeastern Chinese food, offering some dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. The portions are substantial, so you don't need to order too much to enjoy a hearty meal.

Good food , great service
I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff however the food here was not up to par. The soup was good but the portions were terrible. I ordered the braised beef noodle soup, but it came with 5 small little pieces of beef and so much noodles. Like literally way too much. They were very stingy with the protein. I don’t recommend.

I went there a few months ago and the Guobao Pork was super delicious. In the past few days, I’ve been craving for Northeastern cuisine again. The result was disappointing, so disappointing. The mixed cauliflower had no taste at all. Except for the juicy part, the pot pork was dry, and the rest was dry. The child said the pot pork was too soft. I went to eat the small fried fish before and couldn't get enough of it. It was crispy and fragrant. This time, it had no aroma at all. Forget about the other dishes, I invited friends to dinner, but the dishes on the table were not as good as the home-cooked dishes I made at home. I asked the waiter and he said that the Northeastern chef has returned to China. He is a chef from Jiangsu and he doesn’t know how to cook Northeastern cuisine. Hey, what’s wrong with this? The service attitude is quite good.

The sauced pork knuckles looked terrible and tasted bad. They were a bit sour. I was speechless...
I have been eating at his house for eight years. The first meal I had in New York was at his house, which was full of nostalgia. As a Northeastern person, I rate his Northeastern cuisine as very authentic. Pot-roasted pork, squid tentacles, pimple soup, and bullfrog are all my favorites. Recently, the owner has been changed and the food has not changed. Very delicious.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. My girl saw the boss’s staff meal had meat buns and wanted them. I said I would buy one, and the boss gave me two as gifts.

This is the third time I have been to Xingshunda, and the taste is still delicious. I came here for a birthday dinner with friends, and the store also gave me a bowl of longevity noodles. Thank you very much. The service attitude of the beautiful lady is very good, and the environment is clean. Worth recommending?

The beef noodles were so chewy that they were almost inedible. The can was full of oil and had no soup at all, and it also had a strong fishy smell.

The Guobao Pork is not bad. The Northeast stew is really too watery. The fried eggplant box is simply unpalatable in the universe. The dough on the outside tastes very strange, and the meat filling inside is also very dry. It is the most unpalatable fried eggplant box that I, a Northeasterner, have ever tasted. Spicy pepper pork liver is just so-so.
Went to eat today. The environment was very nice. It was newly renovated. The food was good in every aspect. The main thing was that it was delicious?
