“I always pick up pizza from this location so I don't understand where all the hate comments are coming from. The staff is friendly; they prepare the order fairly quickly and deliver on time. As far as the no gloves comments, please educate yourselves. The pizza goes into an oven where it's cooked at a really high temp, you're fine. If your order is not made how you want it, dominos gives you several options, including a refund or a free pizza next visit. Order on the app for customization as well as rewards. Finally, stop acting like you're going to receive the best quality pizza if you pick it up late and drive home and then go eat it when it's cold.

Parking: Around 7 spots outside which are usually open for pickup.“

“Landed in the JFK airport, which is located in southside Jamaica Queens, and I was starving! I was looking for some places nearby with good ratings even though I don’t trust all the Google reviews, but this place was a 4.9 for that much reviews, somethings got to be up. Before I order the gentleman was nice enough to offer samples of jerk, chicken, and house special chicken, and they both were delicious so we ordered both
Jerk Chicken- had a hint of sweetness with the jerk spice, didn’t taste traditional, but I still enjoyed it and Wood ordered it again especially for someone who doesn’t want too much jerk heat
House Special Chicken- best way to describe this is it taste like mild hot sauce with curry seasoning, what a wonderful mix, that’s not forget the diced tomatoes, onions, cucumbers (kind of reminded me of pico de gallo minus the cucumbers) which was a refreshing balance to the mild heat of the dish, comforted by the bed of basmati yellow rice, ordered the avocado with it as well because I knew it was going to set it off!
Jerk Chicken Tacos- clever twist, luckily this was considered a side dish for me because I can eat this in two bites
Fried Chicken Quesadilla- my daughter had this, but she couldn’t finish so I decided to have the honors to finish it for her, as simple as this dish sounds, it’s not, the quesadilla was perfectly crisp, and the fried chicken itself was so buttery and crunchy, you could tell they changed their fryer oil on the regular or they use some type of special oil because I felt less guilty from the clean taste
Sauces - I forgot what they were, but one was like chipotle, the other one was like honey mustard with a touch of mango (I could be mistaken, but do yourself a favor and pour this on the chicken quesadilla), last, but not least the cilantro lime, which I drought everything with
Ladies and gentlemen, these people have earned their 4.9 stars and should be five, everything they can cooked is with effort and I’m glad they save my starvation, so when you get off the airport and you like Halal food, this is where you go!“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“We dropped by Ace's Pizza around 3pm., Brooklyn, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Ave NYC and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—amazing service all around. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and a 14-inch Pepperoni Pizza. Every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding. The pepperoni pizza especially stood out—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. Went with a friend and ordered two combos—great value and basically covers everything you’d want 😋

🍗 Wings + drumsticks were super juicy with a thin, crispy coating. Tons of sauce options—Soy Garlic is a must, and Yummy Red has a real kick (even the medium is spicy 🥵 but so addictive).

🍗 Boneless combo was also solid—got it with a bun and turned it into a chicken sandwich 🍔 so satisfying. The tteokbokki was chewy and flavorful, and adding ramen made it even better.

They also have other Korean dishes, plus mocktails and beer. Definitely a great late-night spot 🔥“

Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

“I just ordered online via DoorDash. I was playing Russian roulette today with food. I ordered a 10 piece half-and-half, teriyaki and honey mustard wings With fries and a Mountain Dew. When I tell you, the teriyaki wings was so juicy and good, I was in love. Those honey, mustard wings took me to another level. Those are the best wings that I’ve ever had since I’ve been up here in New York City. I haven’t visited the actual restaurant yet, but I’m looking forward too. “Top 3 k fried chicken I’ve had in my life! Excited to try Sweetie’s after trying Peeps a few weeks ago. The wings were fried to perfection. Didn’t have that double fried (wet coat?) crunch like the heyday of BonChon about 20 years ago but it was a pleasant crunch nonetheless. I would say the crunch is close to what you would imagine Kentucky Fried Chicken’s would taste like based on the picture but unlike that KFC there is no disappointment! Sweetie’s has a nice combination of crunch that also crumbles softly.

My kid got the tteokbokki and it was a very decent sized portion for the price. Good flavor, they didn’t skimp on the sauce, and the rice cakes were not over/under cooked!

The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“Food is always great but its been about 7 times that I have went and the fried chicken has run out, and it takes 15-20 minutes for it to cook. I feel like they need to better manage the timing. Once they see that the chicken on display is half gone, they should already start frying a new batch instead of waiting for the last min where there's less than 10 pieces for them to now start frying the new batch. Also they have a limit on breast they fried in each batch. So if the few pieces are gone, you will now have to wait for the new batch to fry and that can take over 45 mins, especially if they are not ready to fry a batch. Other than that, the food is great and the staff are also very friendly.“
