“The servers were excellent from the moment we arrived. Cocktails were perfect. We shared the tuna carpaccio which was an excellent combination of flavors... so we looked forward to to the entree... I ordered halibut, ( my favorite) but it was served on a celery root purée which sadly had very little flavor, so while the fish was cooked perfectly, the dish lacked pizzazz. My husband ordered the duck which did have a nice combination of flavors. I wanted to offer a better score but the halibut was just bla.“

“Visited this restaurant after show at Bellport Playhouse. Very nice inside and the service was amazing. My husband enjoyed his Filet Mignon, he loved it! My meal on the other hand, chicken della casa was not good at all. The chicken was so bland I couldn't eat it. I should have sent back but didn't by that point I lost my appetite. I did order the dessert tiramisu which was really good. I would go back but next time I would try another dish.“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “Bird & Bao in Patchogue is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always consistently amazing & the owner & staff are genuinely some of the nicest people. Every time I walk in, I feel like I’m being taken care of & it keeps me coming back way more often than I’d like to admit (I’m officially addicted).

The Nashville hot chicken bao bun is my go to every single time. Perfectly crispy, spicy, flavorful, & just unreal in that soft bao bun. And the crispy brussel sprouts… honestly, they’re to die for. I could three whole orders by myself without blinking.

If you’re anywhere near Patchogue & haven’t tried Bird & Bao yet, you’re missing out! I recommend it to everyone!!“

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I have loved everything I have eaten here. The only thing I am not a fan of is the pizza. Staff makes you feel like family. The dinning room is small yet spacious. Every time we eat there we end up talking to other tables. I drive quite a distance to eat here. If you go you have to try the baked clams. They only serve cherry stone clams. So so good.

“Got 3 tacos combo, double rice, and a side of guac. With tip it was 15$ - amazing price.

Top-tier service, great cashier.

Guac is great, pork taco was great. Chicken taco was super dry and nasty. Steak taco was okay.

Rice was straight mushy. Could be from the drive home though.

My main issue is the sauce, asked for the spiciest they had and it didn’t have a hint of spice. It tasted sweet, a mild sauce from Taco Bell is spicier.

Really confused by it, my girlfriend who can’t handle pepper said it was good and had a “little kick to it”. She can’t even handle green Tabasco without freaking out… I NEED ME SOME HEAT MIGUEL!“

It was piping hot, had very generous portions, and most importantly delicious! Luigi was super friendly at the pizzeria, and great to work with for the follow-up.
