Update: This Bar Louie restaurant is now closed as the chain makes cuts to stay open. We're happy there is another in Rochester we will continue to visit. #ⁿThird visit December 2019:We arrived late having driven through two hours of bad weather on the I-90. The second time out of three we were grateful they keep such late hours. In brief, Bar Louie's has better drinks than food. The cocktails are always really good. The food is fair. This visit our party of three ordered two happy hour priced apps, buffalo wings with blue cheese and fried calamari. Both okay. Neither hot in temperature despite a small crowd. One of us wasn't hungry so ordered a third plate of the barbecue wings. These were the best of the three apps. Moist and warm with a well made barbecue sauce.My Louie's classic burger with cheese, lettuce and tomato with the Louie's dressing on the side was medium well to well when served, though I requested medium rare. There are so many better burgers out there. The Louie's sauce, however, was the best part. Their version of a Big Mac's sauce with more garlic. Potato tots were cool in temp.A thumbs up for the chicken and churros from our third party who has ordered this twice here now. He said the chicken was hot, moist and crunchy and well-balanced by the sweet churros, which are like waffle sticks.All martinis were delicious, as usual, and half price. My least favorite was the one with peach in it which my partner ordered. #Second visit October 2019:We chose to revisit this restaurant out of so many area choices because we enjoyed our first visit here. (See review below) At this hour, we basically had this vast place to ourselves. Not sure why but we didn't mind.Service was fast and polite. Food was pleasing. Two apps: buffalo wings (mix of boned and boneless) and potato buds with bacon. Lunch items for three: turkey club on sour dough, bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg and fish and chips. All good. Cocktails were okay. Because it was our birthdays all within a week, we each received complimentary ice cream with chocolate sauce and shavings. #Arriving late in Rochester, everything was closed by ten. Grateful Bar Louie was open until two. Following the trend of happy hours being extended from nine p.m. until closing, we enjoyed a couple of apps and martinis from this price menu - wings and a chicken quesadilla. A double burger slider and chicken with churros were very good. Our server Monica was friendly and helpful.

BAR Louie was as expected, a little empty as opposed to what I am used to in Chicago( but this is Rochester , so can't expect more) . The food is good and enough o fill you up. This particular Bar Louie is big, which is nice.

Bar tenders were awesome! Quick to serve and very helpful. I couldn't give a 5 because I ordered my food to go. And I didn't get my ordered salad dressing or ordered sauce...so I ate super bland food.

First id like to add that erika and Shannon are amazing. Most friendly bartenders ive ever met. The henrietta location by far has the best food out of all the locations. I'd recommend bar louie in henrietta to anyone.

When you're tired and hungry you just want to eat something good and yes I had a beer and the beer was good and then I ordered one of their burgers it was their Gastro burger supposed to be made from ground sirloin and I ordered it rare and I told her I want it really rare when it showed up it was medium well done and I ate it anyway although it tasted off , it tasted bad and it did not taste like it was fresh maybe that's why the cook thought he better cook it more than rare and anyway I should've just sent it back but I didn't so I ate about half of it and then I complained to the waitress she took it off of my bill which was really sweet of her anyhow if I ever do come back here again I will not Order any of their redmeat I might take a risk with the chicken next time instead aside from that the bar has a nice atmosphere and there's not too many cars in the parking lot on a Saturday maybe that's a sign of the fact that the food is just not that great

The food has been really good all 3 times I've come to this restaurant. No complaints the first time. Second visit, we were seated at a booth next to a window and there was nothing but dead bugs and fruit flies infesting the windows. I'm leaving this review today after visiting 3 days ago with food poisoning. All I had was a chicken salad and a few drinks, and the next day I feel absolutely terrible. It almost wasn't worth it because the chicken was BEYOND dry, like ash in my mouth. After noticing the dirtiness the second visit, I had no doubt in my mind I knew where I got it from, as well as not eating much since. I've seen this restaurant on Health Department warnings before but since I had such a great first experience, I was rarely concerned. Disappointed, but maybe I'll try another location in the future.
Love it that they kept it open during Christmas Eve and Christmas. Not many vegan choices but the impossible burger is really good. Just make sure you ask the server to make it vegan.

The place is very clean and orderly. The drinks are pretty pricey but no biggie. And Anthony, aka, AJ was seriously the coolest, friendliest, and best server I've ever had! I'll be returning for sure!

I have attended two retirement parties here, do only have enjoyed appetizers. They were very good and presented nicely. The wings, tater tots and nachos were all tasty.
