“We were in the area and searched for a halal spot, and Halal Yemen Restaurant came up. As a family who loves Yemeni food, we had to give it a try, and we’re so glad we did!
I’ll be honest, the food was full of rich, authentic flavors, especially the Fasha meat, which was tender and perfectly spiced. We wanted to try more, but the lamb was sold out, a sign of how good it must be! We'll definitely be back next time to try the rest of the menu.
If you're looking for delicious, flavorful Yemeni food, this place is absolutely worth checking out.“

“I wanted to taste some of the dishes, they looked very good. I could not due to the fact i cannot eat seafood. All dishes are made with fish. The fish is cooked down and they prepare the dish afterwards. They are expensive, but consider the ingredients that are used bring the cost up. Quite a few vegetarian dishes.“

“This place was amazing. The food was fantastic, and the staff (and patrons!) were all very friendly. The only critical thing I can say about this place is that the signage isn't great, and it's a little bit hard to find because of that. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food!“

“10/10! By far the most delicious food we’ve eaten this week! The kebabs plates were large, delicious portions of perfectly cooked meats with fresh veggies and a delicious pilaf on the side. For dessert, we sampled four of their miniature samplings from the case. Each of them was delicious and left us smiling.“

“I love Peruvian food, so I was excited about this place since there are no Peruvian restaurants in Rochester. We ordered the Machu Bowl and the Peruvian Rotisserie Half chicken meal. Great flavors! I loved the chicken and ají verde sauce. 💚 Unfortunately, the rice was undercooked. It was well-seasoned but probably needed about 8-10 minutes more of cooking. I'd return again for another meal.“

as shown in the emojis, i’ve had halal n out a total of 3 or 4 times. each time, getting the chicken & rice platter with pickled radish and red onion. the most recent time, was suspicious. the rice was a little mushy… honestly just too mushy. BUT the first 2 or 3 times was HEAVENLY so i will give you the opportunity to mess up 2 more times (in a row) before you lose me. and trust, that’s really bad. you’d lose out on about $20/month sales, probably about $4 profit after labor & food cost. so no mushy rice!!! and… when i politely ask to swap a little less chicken for more salad/pickled items, please do it :( i’m paying the same for less of the expensive thing…
