I wanted to taste some of the dishes, they looked very good. I could not due to the fact i cannot eat seafood. All dishes are made with fish. The fish is cooked down and they prepare the dish afterwards.
They are expensive, but consider the ingredients that are used bring the cost up.
Quite a few vegetarian dishes.
This place has real authentic wild ocean harvested sea moss at a good price!

African Haitian Restaurant offers a mix between Haitian and African food and a convenience store. The restaurant is very spacious and welcoming. The customer service is top-notch and to be commended. The man at the front counter is really friendly and extremely nice, helping customers pick a great dish. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are great, with plenty of food for later. The stew chicken with diri djon driji (black rice and beans) and fried chicken platter are both perfect. A first-timer enjoyed fufu, which is eaten with hands, and was given a free tea and water. The Egusi and Fufu, African Pate, Haitian Chicken Stew, and fried chicken are highly recommended. House made drinks like soursop and house spicy pineapple lemon ginger juice add great flavors. The food is just like when mom makes, very affordable compared to other places, and perfect for a nice sit-down or a gathering of family or friends. If time is limited, order ahead or stop in for takeout. Customers felt welcomed and had an absolutely enjoyable evening, with many planning to return.
