We absolutely LOVE China Star! The food is wonderful, the speed of service is eminently satisfactory, and the prices are most reasonable.If you're looking for Chinese food in the 19th Ward, China Star is the ONLY restaurant worth thinking about!Kid-friendliness: The nice man that owns China Star is always so patient with our autistic Cub when she's ordering or asking questions about a menu item.
It was a surprise delight. On the urging of a coworker who says they have the best wings we ordered. The wings were crispy and delicious, you can get boss sauce on the side. We decided to add veg egg foo young which had ample vegetables and browned onion bits from the fry. The sesame chicken actually had heat and the pork fried rice also had ample pork n veggies.

My husband and I love China Star so much that we make a special trip from Ontario, NY to get it. Food is great, price is reasonable and the owners are very friendly!
