Some good news for a Sunday morning!
Nancy and I have been isolating after a visit with our grandkids. We normally take our morning walk to Matilda’s for my red eye and Nancy’s cappuccino. This morning the doorbell rang and there was Gretchen from Matilda’s with our coffee! She said they missed us and wanted to check in with us! What a surprise! (She also brought an apple turnover (the best I have had)!)

Too many tables taken by 1 person staying for an extended time. One person spread her stuff out along two large tables and was there longer than we were.
Also, they serve COLD croissants which makes them soggy, tasteless, and unappealing. I have never had a cold croissant and never want one again.
We were blown away by the much needed renovations to the very tired looking Starry Nights! The space is now so beautiful with so much natural light and a really inviting ambiance. The staff was friendly and helpful with selecting menu options. We got two breakfast sandwiches, a pumpkin latte and a lavender fennel latte. We were given a pager for our food and our drinks were brought to our table. The process was easy and quick. Everything was SO delicious!
