Questionable food handling practices. They placed my food on top of receipt on a plate. Disrespectful. Is it because I didn’t leave a tip? But why would I give a tip when I have to go to the counter to order, retrieve the food from the counter myself and clean up after myself? I don’t understand why Panera even puts an option for tips? It’s not enough that the food is already overpriced but Panera still wants us to pay extra for nothing.

My husband and I went there for lunch on a Monday at 1pm and the person in front of us was told it would be a 25 minute wait. When I got up to the register to place my order for 2 sandwiches with soup, I was told it would be a 1 hour wait. When I asked for a manager to explain why, he said we’re just busy. I mean fancy restaurants I would wait an hour for, but Panera… a fast food restaurant? Yeah, no thanks. I buy weekly for lunch there, guess what? I will not be returning.

Just bought an $8 bowl of French onion soup. Just broth and onions. No cheese or croutons. You literally have bread in your name, and you're out of bread? It's time these companies who keep raising prices but not quality go out of business. Oh yea, I had to add that cheese when I got home. As you can see, it's not melting because the soup is tepid at best.
