Great Chicken French. The sauce is a little darker than say Papa Joe's, closer in line to the color and flavor of Red Fedele's...The darker sauce is a good thing in my book; a richer flavor and a touch thicker. Kind of reminds me of the old Cava Cori's that used to be down in Charlotte. It's not as dark, thick and sweet as Nick's Seabreeze Inn (which is excellent, but a touch sweeter and thicker than most others, Nick calls it "Utica Style.") We went to Paulinho's awhile back when they first opened. I'm posting my review now because when I tried to before,they were not on yelp yet.. so here we go. First and foremost lol,YOU HAVE TO TRY their "deep fried" pizza! I consider my self a pizza aficionado and this pizza is really,really good! The crust seems to feel lighter and crispier because of being deep fried and I think that takes this pizza to a different level. ugh I'm super picky with my Italian food. I like Italian food, not olive garden. there aren't many authentic restarunts around here locally & ive been going to roncones for 20+ years so I was super sad to hear of the closing. Ive been to paulinos once, and the food was great. however, it was freezing in there, I had to eat with my winter coat on bc I was shivering. also, how & why they don't have a liquor license yet is beyond me. cant eat a good meal without some wine. the server...read full review
