The coffee here is good, though definitely on the pricey side. Unfortunately, I had a strange and disappointing experience with a barista today.
When I walked in, I said hello (excited to try the Valentine’s Day tiramisu latte). The barista looked directly at me for about 10 seconds without saying anything, then went back to talking with the other barista as if I wasn’t there. I stood quietly at the counter and wasn’t acknowledged or greeted by anyone.

Pearson's offers delicious coffee, sandwiches, and sweet treats, making it a great spot for a tasty meal or coffee. The cinnamon rolls are a must-try if available, with one reviewer describing them as THICC and topped with a smooth, fluffy icing. The pastries are incredible, especially the Herby Artichoke Danish and the After Dark Cookie, which always exceed expectations. The lox is highly praised as possibly the best ever, and the lox bagel does not skimp. While the staff can be inattentive at times, the kitchen staff is accommodating. The almond croissant is excellent, and the prosciutto and mozzarella croissant are outstanding, with reviewers praising their tenderness and quality. The Hot for You Tofu sandwich is noted for its perfectly crispy tofu and well-chosen condiments, while the Banana Pudding cookie has a crumbly texture with a moist center. The atmosphere is pleasant and lively, featuring a small patio for outdoor seating, where a tiny bench is a perfect spot for relaxation. Pearson's opens at 7am, but the kitchen does not start serving until 8am, which some customers found disappointing. The inside area is very neat, and there is plenty of space for working on laptops. Despite these minor drawbacks, Pearson's remains a gem worth visiting.
