Rising Storm Brewing Company at The Mill is a charming brewery and restaurant located in a historic mill. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, featuring individual tables and a cozy feel. This big space is great for groups, although it can get a little loud at times. The brewery offers a solid beer menu with a wide range of options, including the Amber Lager, Scotch Ale, Vanilla Porter, and Hot Mexican Chocolate Stout, and flights are available for those wanting to sample a few beers. The food includes the popular Roni Stark pizza, which has an amazing crispy crust and is considered some of the best pizza in Rochester. The Superfly sandwich, made with tender braised beef and flavorful onion confit, is also a standout. The Mill Burger is a standout. While the food has received mixed reviews, many enjoy the cheese pizza, and the crispy chicken sandwiches are noted as incredibly good and huge. The location offers beautiful views of the park and brook, and the decor features original flour equipment and stained glass signs. There is cool merch and four packs to go. The staff are really friendly. The vegan crust for the pizza is super super limited, but both food options are tasty and large portions. There is an amazing outdoor area when the weather is nice.
