Food was all very tasty. However, the BALT sandwich bread was very greasy and a full size Southwest Salad was only 10 oz of salad, including the container. That's a half in my book. Maybe the made a mistake and only gave me a half? Either way, that was very disappointing. Otherwise, the food was good.

Cool spot, food is good, coffee is great, employees are very nice. However, sitting up on the balcony I couldn’t stop staring at all the dust and grime above the food counter on the hvac and conduit. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months and it’s at eye level with those sitting on the top row. The more I stared at it the more I was grossed out. Not to be a Karen but this is right above their baked goods area as seen from the pics. Walls, baseboards, stairways, were all grimey and filthy. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. They should really make the effort to keep this place clean, it’s not a good look for customers.

Village Bakery & Cafe is among the coolest cafe's ive visited in a while. The second floor that has seating overlooking the counter is pretty sweet. I ordered French Toast (of course) and it was French Toast. The Hot chocolate was a miss as well. However to my delight the service was A1. If anything grab a labtop and a natural fruit smoothie and enjoy the vibes.

We came in cuz we were craving something sweet and ordered the cinnamon roll. At first I was confused since it looked very flat and all I could see was the icing. However, once you remove the wax paper surrounding it, you discover the absolutely delectable cinnamon roll underneath topped with a decadent cream cheese icing. I kid you not, this was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. My husband absolutely loved it. We will definitely be coming back for more.

Whenever I'm on this side of town I stop in to have breakfast a coffee or even if it's just to pick up a loaf of bread. Which I do recommend you grab it directly from here you will pay a premium buying it at other retailers that they supply it to. Which is fine, but it's always nice to get it from the source. I recommend the sourdough pan loaf to use for avocado toast. Delicious pastries and baked goods and also breakfast sandwiches. Plenty of options for coffee and other various drinks. Vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even with a long line, they were very quick and efficient.
