Very nice cozy location they have here with easy access off of 490. Staff is very friendly, and the food and drinks are phenomenal. Whenever I'm on this side of town I stop in to have breakfast a coffee or even if it's just to pick up a loaf of bread. I had a tuna melt at the Eastview location a week ago, and just went back to the Culvet Road location because I had to have it again. I put it on multigrain and/or sourdough, and it is the yummiest tuna melt I’ve had in years! Simple tuna, not too wet, toasted bread. Yum! Also, the candy cane macaroon will change your life. Village Bakery & Cafe is among the coolest cafe's ive visited in a while. The second floor that has seating overlooking the counter is pretty sweet. I ordered French Toast (of course) and it was French Toast. The Hot chocolate was a miss as well. However to my delight the service was A1. If anything grab a labtop and a natural fruit smoothie and enjoy the vibes.
