“We had the most wonderful experience at Carnegie wine bar. We love the place. It was my 5th time there. We decided to try and get a seat at the bar on a very busy Sat night. When We walked in, there were 2 seats open. Couldn’t have gotten luckier. Meal was amazing! My favorite dish is the whipped ricotta with charred sour dough bread. I get it every time I’ve gone. The wine selections are immense. Service impeccable. But this time we had an over the top experience. Mike, the owner/host, asked us if we’re going to Mama Mia that night. We said no, but were thinking of getting last minute tickets because we were celebrating our 1st Anniversary. Mike gave us 2 tickets for that night’s show. We were so surprised by the act of kindness. Couldn’t have been more excited. When we got to the auditorium, our seats were in 6th row! What an awesome Anniversary we had. Thank you to Carnegie cellars wine bar and kitchen., we are definitely going to have to pay it forward!“

“Flight has wonderful hosts, bartenders and and large and varied selection of wines. Sue's wine suggestions are spot on! It's friendly and warm atmosphere. The patio is wonderful! They don't serve hard liquor. If you like wine, Flight is the place to go! If you want to try it come out on Sept 4 from 4 to 7pm and Sip for a Cause! Flight is generously donating 20% of their sales to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy to help end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.“

Definitely encourage reservations if you have more than 2 people and make sure to order a drink & dessert because they’re also so great!

Absolutely a gem in this neighborhood and worth a visit for anyone looking for a nice place to start or end the night with great drinks.“

“What an absolute gem! 💎 the best food (tapas) and wine selections in the area. They offer local to international wines, and the food is made to order and cooked to perfection! We’ve been twice and are going back with friends to share the experience. Our first time was taking our daughter there before she moved to Spain 🇪🇸 and again for our anniversary 🍾🥂. The shaved asparagus salad, grilled octopus, duck, corn dog and chicken shawarma were all excellent! I can’t wait to go back to try more!“

“We went to Angelina’s for dinner on Halloween night. Impeccable is how I would describe the experience. The drink menu was incredible, food was truly shareable with portion sizes that reflect the price.

The carrots and the arancini are heavenly and not to be missed. I was so into the meal that I forgot to take photos, save one of the short rib!

“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“My family took me off my birthday. And was some place cool and different to go to.
All the food was pretty good. But my burger, which I asked for medium was well done.
there was a piece of bacon on it, which leads me to believe, because I asked for no bacon, that they put it in and then took it off.
It was not busy at all and this particular Sunday evening, and it took an extremely long time to get our food.
The call ahead for a reservation and they will be able to see us all in a round table for a party of 8, which was nice.
I loved the atmosphere of the style and the nostalgia.“

“I came for Pastry & Coffee, and decided to have a light lunch of Chicken Salad Platter. The Chicken Salad was delicious, fresh. The Salad Greens, Cherry Tomatoes, Mushrooms, refreshing and crisp Viennese Merengue Torte soft, creamy not too sweet. Service was nice and attentive.“

While Rochester area restaurants seem to be gouging their clientele as of late, Flight West remains steadfast and welcoming, with some of the best wines and bourbons that we feel are reasonably priced and delicious! “Just an outstanding dinner. I recently moved to the west side of ROC and sniffed this place out for my wife and I to take our cherished friends to. Something about the menu and the vibe just told me that we should try it. Just, wow. Our friends live right on the west coast, and they said they've possibly never had better calamari. The table bread was great, almost like a sourdough ciabatta vibe. I got the short ribs, a dish I'm no stranger to, and they were phenomenal. Our party of four was extremely happy with the quality of food for the value, and would absolutely recommend.“

“We recently celebrated our anniversary at Pane Vino. They provided us a very quaint seat overlooking the river. They have done a nice job masking the noise level of their beautiful interior that is full of character. We interacted with 4 staff that were all very personable, professional, and efficient. The food was all exceptional and the wine list very nice. We were impressed that the owner checked on us several times, he definitely cares and pays attention to detail. We plan to return here on our next visit to the area.“
