Fresh cabbage, carrot sauteed with onion, garlic, ginger, and turmeric.
Special Shiro Wet
Powdered chickpeas cooked with mildly spiced herbs, tomatoes, onions, and garlic.
Collared Greens (Gomen)
Fresh collard greens sauteed with onions, garlic, and ginger.
Yekikk Alicha
Mild yellow split peas cooked with onions, garlic, and sliced green peppers.
Yedifin Misir Wet
Whole lentils with garlic, onions, canola oil, and sliced green peppers.

Chicken Tibs
Tender chicken breast cubes sauteed with Ethiopian seasoning and cooked to your taste with hot green peppers and onions (we serve with rice or injera).
Doro Wot
Tender chicken gently simmered in seasoned berbere (hot pepper) sauce with a hard-boiled egg.

Lamb Entrees
Misto
Ye beg alicha, ye beg to wot 50/50 lamb stew seasoned and hearty. Comes with berbere (hot pepper)sauce, tender pieces of lamb marinated with butter then sauteed with ginger, garlic, green peppers, and curry (mild).
Ye Beg Wot
Lamb stew seasoned and hearty. Comes with berbere (hot pepper), onion, and garlic sauce.
Yebeg Tibs
Tender pieces of lamb barely sauteed with onions, green pepper, fresh rosemary, and other exotic herbs.
Ye Beg Alicha
Tender pieces of lamb marinated with butter then sauteed with ginger, garlic, and green peppers (mild).

Beef Entrees
Tibs
Tender beef cubes sauteed with Ethiopian seasoning and cooked to your taste with hot green pepper, onions, and fresh rosemary.
Kitfo
Finely chopped prime beef, mixed with spice butter and mitmita (seasonal hot chili pepper). Served raw, rare, or well done (like steak tartar). serve with rice or injera.
Gored Gored
Lean cubed beef simmered in a blend of red pepper, herbed butter and awaze, and mitmita (chili pepper). Served tera (row ), rare (labeled), or, well done.
Tibs Firefer
Cubed tender beef and bits of injera (traditional Ethiopian bread) soaked in spiced red pepper sauce. Sauteed in a pan stewed with red pepper sauce.
Gomen Bessiga (Collared Green with Beef)
Sauteed cut of prime beef seasoned with garlic, onions, ginger, and then finished with collard greens.
Yetibs Wot
Choice of beef strips in specially seasoned Berbera (hot pepper) sauce. We serve with your taste medium or spicy.
Yekoneta Firifer
Seasoned sauce of beef jerky, bits of injera (traditional Ethiopian bread) soaked in spiced red pepper sauce. served hot spicy or mild.
Zilzel Tibs
Strips of tender, lean beef sauteed with homemade awaze, peppers, onions, and herbs. Served mild or spicy.

We went to Zemeta hungry and left stuffed! Over half the buffet is vegan! They will dish up the food for you. I asked them to fill my plate with everything vegan and not too spicy. Everything was delicious!

Great food, ample parking, lots of choices including vegetarian and vegan, pleasant dining area, fast friendly service. All of the afore mentioned and its very reasonable also. I don’t think I will be cooking much anymore. If I missed anything assume it is there. I don’t usually take time to write reviews but I needed to pass this info on to people interested in healthy great tasting food. Try it, you will like it.

Zemeta is my go to Ethiopian food! As soon as you walk in you get the smell of Zemeta making fresh Ethiopian coffee (which is very strong!) the food is so delightful! It is a buffet sort of layout and she has a whole side dedicated to the vegan section! She definitely loads up your plate and she is the sweetest person!
