My wife and I have dined at Matteo's of Roslyn many times. We've can only say that the dining experience has ALWAYS been excellent . From the meal itself to the ambience, it has always been FIVE STARS in every way !

Our first time back to this Matteo's in a while. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The service (our server was Dana) was friendly and attentive. We started with a salad, which was refreshing and very tasty. We then shared the penne Sicilano, which was prepared perfectly and was very flavorful. Our entree was the veal chop Voldestano. It too was a real treat with mozzarella and a wonderful Marsala sauce. We highly recommend Matteo's and will be back again soon.

This was the first visit to Matteo's. We took advantage of the price fixe three-course meal. There are many good choices and the portions are very generous. A local gem!

Very disappointed in food quality and value. Seafood pasta had a flavorless sauce. No parsely and rubbery fish. Spaghetti vongole was a huge bed of pasta with exactly 3 clams!! Seafood that was supposed to be there was substituted with garlic. Cavilli creme dessert was full of sugar instead of crème. Over 1/2 the items on the price fix menu had an extra charge. Very poor value overall. Have dined here many times over the last 10 years. The place now has a very corporate feel and obviously cost containment rather than food quality is its priority. Will not return.
