“Ordered for the first time and food was good! I had the Yaki Udon, California Roll and Fried Rice. The Yaki Udon was a nice portion and came with a side salad. Fried rice had chicken and egg. California roll was disappointing. The Crab was nonexistent and rice as well. Roll fell apart.

I will definitely order again at another time to see if the sushi rolls are better made.“

I just moved to this side of new rochelle and was looking for a sushi spot close to home. This is it! If you were skeptical because it's near a gas station, don't be. This is the real deal! “Was looking for an affordable AYCE sushi spot near my house and I stumbled across Yummy 1 Sushi which is considerably less expensive compared to the surrounding AYCE sushi market (roughly $27-30 per person) at just $21 per person. It would’ve been silly of me to not want to try it at that price point. I have to admit, I was fairly skeptical of the quality of the establishment considering the low price point. The restaurant was empty when we entered and it seemed like business had been slow for quite a bit because there was an employee staring out the door looking like he was waiting for someone to come inside.

The menu selection wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, it was very much your classic sushi store menu. I ordered the spicy shrimp roll, spicy kani roll, and octopus sushi. I will say, we all had to wait a whopping 30-35 minutes for our food to come out, but this was likely due to them having to fulfill a previous order. I say this because our second round of orders was considerably faster than our first and another party had came in and their food was almost immediately ready. As for the quality of the food, it was definitely good. I do think that the way they get by with the low prices is by having the sushi have a lot of rice. The rice is incredibly filling and as you can see in the pictures, they were very generous with the rice to say the least. I really enjoyed everything I ordered, but the amount of rice made it pretty difficult to finish. My friend said he didn’t really like his scallop rolls, but other than that, everyone enjoyed their food. The service was kind and it seems like it’s a family run business. I will definitely be a returning customer whenever I’m in the mood for some AYCE sushi. Continue to support small businesses. 4/5.“

Food is good, a little pricey, but you get to try a lot of things that would be specialty rolls or dishes from other places without committing to a whole order. Think sample size with somewhat sample prices as opposed to a full dish of something that is pricey and you may not enjoy.

Medium sized place with a good number of tables. Almost everything is automated. One you sit down a robot will bring you water, drinks, and utensils, all the food goes around the place on a conveyor belt, and anything that you special order is done via tablet and put on a separate conveyor belt direct to your table. They have a few typical sushi rolls but most of the dishes could be considered specialty rolls. In addition to the sushi and sashimi that go around, you can also order sides or other full meals such as gyoza and ramen.

“There is a menu up at the very front of the store which I liked because I enjoy reading through the menu without being rushed to order. Then you walk up and tell the cashier what you want and you get your food within 10 minutes which is steaming hot. The portion sizes are larger than other spots I’ve tried and the food is delicious especially with the sauce they add on top. The fried rice was a bit underwhelming but the browning on the chicken more than makes up for it. Great spot if you’re looking for a quick lunch that will fill you up and warm you up.“
