“Food is always yummy and fresh. Good portions and great prices! The gentleman that runs the restaurant is always friendly and serves his customer with a smile. He made me a lamb gyro for the first time in my life and it was delicious! And he even stayed open late to make our food. 100% recommend!! 🙂“

“Great location on Upper Union St. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The only suggestion would be to offer regular sized table and chairs along side the high top table/chair. There is no provision for that now. This would accommodate the elderly and disabled and those who prefer regular height seating and bring in even more patrons.“

“I will say MOST of our food was really good - the salad was just ok . They charged me $2 for extra Guac but did not send it ( pick up order ) The flan was just ok, & steak was dry - on the tacos. What’s disappointing is that the parking lot at 7 pm, was empty except for 1 car . So not a busy busy night. Next time we will hit up Tequila J for comparison.“

“Food is always excellent and the service can't be beat.“
“First time visiting and will definitely go back. The burrito was perfectly made and the tamales were very authentic tasting and the portions were generous.
The staff are very friendly and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Located in a quiet residential area, the location is small but very cozy. We’re looking forward to going back.“
“Recently went out to dinner with a friend that loves chips and guac as much as I do. Neither of us had been to the restaurant in Altamont so we were excited to share a new experience together.
Before I even left, I was planning my next visit. The service was so friendly. The food delicious. One of my favorite guacamoles I’ve had. The sangria was light and refreshing, went down a little too easy.
We each ordered three tacos à la carte to create our own platter but I’d recommend adding a taco trio to the menu. Also the Al pastor was too spicy for my palate but to be fair i truly have no tolerance for spice.
Lastly for my fellow parents, their kids meals are $5.99!!!
What I ordered:
🍷 Sangria
🥑 Guacamole Casero
🌮 Tacos: Carne Asada, birria , Al pastor“

“The molcajete is a lot of food. Same with the nachos. The birria is delicious and worth it. Can have the birria quesadilla with flour or corn tortillas. Everything well worth the price for the servings. All four of my family members took food home.“

“This cozy place exudes good vibes, especially after a long day of driving. The food is incredibly delicious, and the drinks are equally amazing, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Despite having a small crew, the service was exceptional. They were well-thought-out, generous, and incredibly patient. As a truck driver, I’m fortunate that this place is conveniently located next to a truckstop. It’s definitely home-cooked food at its finest, and the clean restroom is a bonus. I’ll definitely be stopping here every time I make a pit stop.“
