Charley’s Pier Restaurant & Tiki Bar

Visited the old “Tiki Bar” and noticed a name change. Figured I’d try some food and see if it got better. It did! Pictured are the lime/cilantro wings, cheeseburger accompanied by an aperol spritz and jalapeño margarita. Everything was great. Food came out super fast. Charley’s ( the owner of the pier restaurant and Tiki bar) is just great. The food is delicious. The servers hard working. The view unbeatable. The pound and a half lobster was worth the $39 price. It was succulent and delicious. The music , especially the Duo on Saturday afternoons was a lot of fun. We are only sorry that they don’t stay open thru September. We will look forward to it reopening in the spring. And a great place to see the fireworks.

We ate here because we were visiting Playland and already spent $15 for parking. You cannot eat here without paying for parking. You can either park in Playland or if you are open to walking a bit there is another beach down the road. The prices are high for the type of food they serve, but I guess it might be because the rest of Playland is expensive to eat too. The music was very loud.
