We went to this place, expecting to be going to gringos, but found out that three months ago it had been bought out and turned into the Montauk lobster House. We ordered our usual, couple of old fashions and appetizers. Used to be Gringos Oyster House. Didn't realize it had been sold. Was told it has been 3 months. Felt like they still don't have a grasp on things. Happy hour no longer has the oysters on the menu. Majorly Under staffed only one server for entire restaurant. Same server making drinks. Menu had changed. Ahi tuna not as fresh overly salted. Sadly will not be going back to our old Friday happy hour place.

Came on a Saturday night—we chanced walking by surprised that it was open. Its hours are not aligned with what’s listed and the phone number hasn’t worked in weeks so no clue if it had even opened. We used to enjoy gringos. It was dead. One bartender, one cook and we were 2 of the 3 people total at 8pm on a Saturday. Hope they can get a team in to promote because it’s a good space…
