“Had another excellent dinner at El Verano. No matter how busy it is, the Staff is always attentive and smiling. Tacos de Birria remain a favorite. They’ve added new desserts to the menu. The Pastel Del Elote is a must. You’d never expect to hear corn as a sweet treat but make sure you try this.“

We went for the Cadillac and Top Shelf when we were advised that the jalapeños in the Jalapeño & Pineapple Margarita were hot today. Really hot? we asked. Yes, hotter than usual. Hot! Great drinks, worth a bit of a wait. My husband enjoyed his Fish Tacos. I had the salmon served over a tomato, corn, squash and zucchini ragú with a pleasant, not overpowering tomato sauce. Salmon was cooked medium rare as requested. Nice atmosphere, tables close enough to others but not too close. Given seasonal destination, the pricing was very reasonable. We'll be returning :-).“
