“Excellent food, service and ambiance. Will definitely be back. The menu changes so perhaps call to see what’s on the menu. I had a skirt steak that was perfectly cooked to my liking in a delicious marinade. My husband had their homemade pasta which was awesome. Dessert and coffee were yummy. Nice little touches everywhere. We came in with a few minutes to spare before they were making their last seating which always makes me a little nervous when going someplaces. Sometimes you can see the employees rolling their eyes and looking upset that a new table has come in. This definitely was not the case. The wait staff was extremely friendly and answered a lot of questions for us about the area and recommended some other restaurants to try as well. The chef came out and spoke to us also at some point. We did not feel rushed and they gave us dessert and coffee and did not sit and look at their watches. Really cute place and excellent food. I highly recommend it.“

“Bluemoon is a staple in Saranac Lake. Always friendly. Always amazing food. I just recently got out of the hospital and really wanted some comfort food so my family and I went in. My daughter and I shared eggs, potatoes, pancakes and bacon. My nephew had French toast and my sister had an omelet. There were no left overs and we were all extremely full. Even ordered a few things to go for the couple family members who didn't join us. It didn't break the bank. Or server Seamus was awesome and friendly and timely!!! Definitely recommend Blue Moon to everyone who is looking for a great breakfast!!! (I'm a local and work at another local lunch/dinner place. And I always recommend Blue Moon to people for breakfast) You won't be sorry!!!!!“

“We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with the Ahi poke bowl & shrimp pizza paired with refreshing cocktails for my husband’s birthday today. The lovely bartender Ginny/Jenny was fantastic even if it was her second day! There was a slight hiccup in the kitchen, but the manager handled it in more ways than they should have. Very grateful for good customer service! We will be back! Cheers! Thank you for a lovely day!“

“This really was a beautiful dinner. I couldn't have asked for better service. I believe my waitress' name was Brittany, and she was really so kind and lovely. While my food was delicious.... I'm taking off one star for price. I got one appetizer, one drink, one salad, and one dessert. And my bill was 140 dollars before tip. When I was told the appetizer special was a pasta, I'm looking at all of the other appetizers and I'm seeing prices of around 20 to 30 bucks. So I'm thinking okay this thing is probably going to be 20 to 30 dollars. I knew I wanted to try dessert and salad so I thought I'd spend less by getting an app. Sometimes you just want a cool experience without breaking the bank. Not to mention I try to stay within my 100. 00 budget I get for traveling for work. Needless to say I was sticker -shocked when I saw the pasta was 60 dollars. The portion was EXTREMELY small, there was no meat. Just noodles and sauce. So it definitely hurt to pay that bill and I wouldn't come here again. However I'm glad I got the experience since they do make you feel very catered to. The amouse bouche selection was a pork consomme that was absolutely heavenly. Highly recommend if money is no object. Highly recommend staying away if it is ?“
