I own the hotel a half block away called Stay Saratoga. I recommend the Thirsty Owl to all my guests, and they always tell me what a nice experience they had. I am also a frequent customer myself. Great food and wine in a beautiful atmosphere and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?
We have become regulars at their wine monthly wine dinners and wine pairing events. We have been loving the food, and pleasantly surprised at how many of the Thirsty Owl wines we like. Their Vidal Blanc is a favorite along with their Lot 99 red and Malbec in addition to Dry Riesling and Pinot Gris. Beyond that, Josh Cupp, Christy and the rest of the staff are great with customers. We recommend it.
This is a beautiful winery with amazing wines. The tastings are only $5 and we got to try 5 wines. We felt they were excellent at explaining the wines. We got their close to closing so we were unable to eat Would definitely go back!
