Overpriced wine list ... family show not quite shameless ...no changing or your way ....totally awesome! It's an experience with great food. Old throwback building a step back in time with frank singing in the background .
The greeting we received when we walked in to this place was anything but welcoming. The wait staff is very rude and macho italian waiters mostly. I have never had an experience like this before and I have been to some amazing 5 star restaurants all over the world. The food is not worth $100 PP. A cheap wine poured into unlabeled bottles that they charge $40 for is awful. I'm not sure why so many people like this place. The iconic Villa Balsamo has been part of Old Saratoga for decades. Its great for a special occasion or just an escape from the corporate world that has moved into town. This is one of the finest establishment in town and the owner are awesome.
