“One of my favorite places to have breakfast on a Saturday morning is The Hudson Valley Dessert Co. Connie and everyone at the bakery always put love into everything they make! This morning I got an egg and Asiago sandwich with avocado and homemade sausage that they make there! It was (and always is,) delicious! I got a cup of hazelnut hot chocolate to have with it!(Please forgive the half-a-sandwich photo. I was so ready to eat it, I forgot to take a photo of the whole sandwich. ?)Kid-friendliness: The staff are so sweet and very interactive with not just my son, but all the other kids who come in as well! “The baked goods are amazing but consistently sold out of cardamom buns and cinnamon rolls….? Also no ability to heat sausage rolls and ham and cheese. The croissants are unmatched! Paris has competition. Seems like they are growing because they are delicious but be prepared to wait.“

“Deising’s bakery is hidden gem of Kingston. It’s small town dinner meets incredibly bakery . My wife and had lunch there today and it was awesome . The staff are super friendly and accommodating . The food is reasonably priced and portion size is more than reasonable . The bake goods are delicious The only issue is there is limited parking but circle around the parking lot you won’t regret it .“
“We love Annabelle's. The staff are pleasant, accomodating, fast moving and simply fabulous. We stop in most weekends for breakfast and often pick up a treat for the next morning. Many folks are unaware of the fabulous breakfast sandwiches they whip up. Think asiago bagel with lox and fresh scallion cream cheese, or an everything bagel toasted with fried eggs, delicious bacon, cheddar cheese and avocado for good measure. Our best weekends begin or end with a visit to Annabelle's. It is well worth going out of your way for. They also make fabulous, reasonably priced cakes (decorated following special requests.
