“I don't review that often but this place just keeps impressing me. Worked down the road from here and went here daily for about 2 weeks, everything I got here was phenomenal. Chicken Cutlet sandwich? Amazing. Burger deluxe? Amazing. Chicken Kabob wrap? Amazing. Even a simple deli turkey sandwich? So good.

The quality of the ingredients here is admirable, you can tell when someone cares about food and the owner here clearly cares. Even down to making homemade mango smoothie drinks which were so delicious and refreshing. I'm going to miss this place when I move to the next job site“

“Me and my friend were so pleasantly surprised by this sandwich shop in Saugerties! The photos don’t do the sandwich justice. Everything is so fresh, cut and assembled right in front of us by the owner We wish that we got a few more to go for the rest of our drive!“

“I got gas there last week. The pump shut off so I assumed I pumped all the gas. I realized later that night that I didnt get all the gas I paid for. I called and explained the situation. They provided an excellent level of service at the tasting, conducting delivery, and throughout the process. We wanted to do a unique cake and the bakers were thrilled with the opportunity to flex their creativity and skills. They worked closely with our venue to ensure the logistics of the cake would work and we completely trusted that everything would go well. Our guests were so impressed by the cake and the other desserts. We had cannolis, pecan squares, and gluten free brownies. Everything was delicious. “This past weekend we had our son’s birthday catered by Salamone's Italian Foods. The food was delicious and the price was even better. We ordered a 1/2 tray of chicken francese, penne alla vodka, sausage and peppers and a tossed salad. The chicken francese was thin and tender and the francese sauce was a perfect lemony, velvet consistency. Penevodka was so delicious it was a traditional vodka sauce that had an amazing flavor with little pieces of pancetta. Sausage and peppers were out of this world. The peppers and onions were fresh and not over cooked. The sausage had a mild/heat and was also very tender. Lastly the toss salad was fresh and beautifully made with cucumbers, fresh romaine lettuce, peppers and homemade croutons. Communication was a breeze, Annie is fabulous and gets back to you right away. She even delivered the food to our house! We will definitely be ordering with them again!!“

Only downside is there's no way to call and order in advance to just pick up. Phone number automatically connects to the citgo gas station and hangs up.“

“Definitely come here if you're looking for a sub sandwich. We shared a turkey and cheese sub and it was fresh and delicious. Read the expiration dates on the snacks. Those are not too fresh.

Parking: Lots of parking for just about any type of vehicle.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of good snacks and treats just watch the expiration dates on some stuff.

Wheelchair accessibility: A little tough to get in the front door with my wheelchair but once I got in it wasn't too bad...a little tight and some spots. A lot of tables inside and two picnic tables outside.“

“I have never stepped foot in home plate deli, but knew I needed to order catering for a large event that I had and I wanted to get a 10 foot sub ASAP.

I went through Google reviews and called the top. Reviewed places. I had a good feeling about home plate deli and i’m glad I trusted my gut.

I just picked up one; 6-foot sub and one; 3 foot sub. They were absolutely beautiful. I was greeted by the owner and the chef and they both were so lovely and welcoming.

There was a small communication error in which they handled it with professionalism and thinking about me as a customer first.

I will absolutely be ordering from them in the future, not only because of the customer service, but also because of the presentation of this incredible sub.
