“We accidentally came upon Luigi’s Deli in Highland N.Y. My husband & I shared their Italian Combo sub…fresh arugula, provolone, prosciutto and many other toppings, it was fabulous! The kids got a slice of pizza (adjoining) we had to order 3 more slices! The gentleman who makes the pizza also made “Grandma’s” pizza slices which tasted exactly like my Nonnies pizza from years ago. You must try this hidden gem on Rt. 299. DELICIOUS!!“

“Twice visited, twice got Chicken Salad. Why? bc it’s just plain awesome—can not improve their seasoning. And get it on a roll bc they’re generous! $9 for 2 meals worth. If you want to relax, there are generous sized tables in a clean, spacious cafe-like store.Oh! and twice taken care of by Ms. SF, who has born breeding. You can teach efficiency, which she is; but you cannot teach quiet graciousness. Even end of day as she attends to cleaning, you feel like you could stay all night.

“I’m not from the area, so I found this play on google saw that it had good reviews decided to try it out,I walk in and I knew this was my kind of place, very clean, polite staff. I order a custom Sandwich, when the lady rang me up she told me “your sandwich looks really good”. I didn’t think anything of it until I opened my sandwich and bam mmm there it was this beautiful sandwich with the perfect amount of every ingredient. One bite and I was hooked, from the bread to the portion it was all just perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anybody. “This is a classic deli experience, loved every moment of it. The portion sizes are perplexing, for $10.50 I got a massive 10” sub loaded to the brim. I think it was the “Bobby D”. I highly recommend, very delicious. I also tried the pulled pork and the meatballs in red sauce, and both were mouth watering. Definitely worth the stop, you can’t beat the price for this kind of quality and flavor. The ladies are also super nice!“

“This is the best smoke shop (it's also a deli/convenience store, but I use the smoke shop aspect only) in Poughkeepsie, they have good prices on tobacco and their other products and are very friendly and quick to make good when a product is faulty (which is not a common occurrence there).“

“Why isn't this place called the best soup in Beacon!? Their chicken soup is the actual best it brings me back to my childhood of how my grandma used to make it. If you never tried their chicken soup, then you missed out on A LOT! I don't say this very often, but this small deli might just make the best soup in all of Beacon. The broth is rich but not very fatty because when it's too fatty, I get sick often even if it tastes good, but this is just right. The chicken isn't fat and huge it's small and well breed healthier that way, and the meat is very tender and delicious. This soup costs around 13 dollars, but one bowl is enough to fully get you full. I couldn't even finish mine, but I had to take it with me because it was too good to throw out. Their chicken soup should describe their whole deli and should honestly be a huge competitor to most soup restaurants. Also, their blueberry muffins are very delicious, not crusty and dry but very soft and yummy. I also like one of their coconut bars it really is a treat. Also, their mint tea is also good. 1000/10 for the soup. My mom also said their place should be called Best Soup in Beacon.“

This quaint space is a prime spot for snacks, sandwiches, refreshments, uhaul services, western union and cell phone services for accepting payments nationally as well as internationally. “It's a great little deli, breakfast and lunch they are great. They have a lunch buffet that's being turn over every five to ten minutes because so many people go there for lunch. They also have hot and cold sandwiches. They have some Chinese and Mexican foods too. If I'm working in that area I always stop in.“
