I carried out my proposal to my fiancée at Loughlin Vineyard recently. Patricia was tremendous in helping me out. She opened the Vineyard early for me and my fiancée so we could share our special moment alone. She also had an amazing setup ready for us when we arrived. On top of all this, the wine, the tasting room and vineyards were all amazing. We cannot wait to return. Thanks Patricia for everything!
Never thought of the south shore of Long Island as having amazing wine but it does! Loughlin vineyards is perfectly rustic and off the beaten path, a quick and scenic 20 min or so walk from the train for all the city people like us. The rose is amazing as is all the wine (we especially loved the merlot and Chardonnay too) but I recommend a flight to try them all and then mix it up with some glasses and bottles. Amazing winery tucked away in Sayville. Such a great ambiance - very cozy, welcoming, and happy spot! Love their Blush wine! Haven't tried the Pinky but plan on it once they get it back in stock. Family-owned. One of my favs.
