don't go here on Christmas eve they were clearly over their head! I called early on to make a reservation for 2 but was told no worries no reservation needed, would be seated right away. arrived at 430, hostess who also just arrived didn't seem to have a clue as to operations for the evening. prior hostess seemed to be running the show. took forever just to be seated in an empty place. when we did get seated waiter told us right away to decide on dinner otherwise it would be 45...read full review
Tonight I had dinner at the Jade Bistro in Scotia, and it will be the last.
I will preface this with the only positive, which was that the food was good, as it has been each time I have been there. But the positive ends there.
Upon arriving we waited at the hostess counter for a significant period of time before being even greeted. (I will add, the restaurant was pretty empty and during the entire time of being there there was only one pick up order that went out)....read full review

Jade Bistro serves nice food, with incredible food and good Chinese and Thai dishes. The sushi is some of the best in the Capital District, consistently delivering fresh and beautifully prepared sushi. While experiences can be marred by issues with service and organization, and orders may take a while to arrive, staff can be slow to check in and refill drinks. However, the restaurant can be busy, especially with large parties. The food, like the California roll, is generally good. The orange chicken and its sauce are amazing, and the chicken is great quality. The server was incredibly attentive to food allergies, making sure food could be made without fish sauce and taking care in handling food.
