“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“I had to cater an event from Seaford deli. Food is always great. There was a little mishap with my order. I called John and he quickly corrected the error and took very special care of us. He was “Johnny on the spot” and our event was a huge success. Thank you, John“

“Manager of the store is super friendly!! Been here 2x with my dad already. Commuter special is great when you are rushing out to work and need to grab a quick breakfast. Bagels and breakfast sandwiches are fresh. Not salty compared to some bagels that i have had before from other bagel shops. Prices are reasonable“

“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“This Place is the SPOT for BBQ. If someone tells you, you live in NY and know nothing of BBQ eat here and you will know all you ever need to know. BBQ Done and served RIGHT. Pork is pulled to order and in front of you! Pulled pork was fantastic. Ribs were better. Prices for what you get were cheap. This is high quality food and an whole lot of it. BBQ sauce is excellent“

“The boba is insanely delicious and way more affordable than other boba shops I’ve been to, the workers are so kind and welcoming and they even gave me some of the extra slushy from the boba I ordered which was insanely kind because it was basically a free boba ! This was our second time there and again we’re so satisfied ! “I’ve been ordering from Orale for months now, but as soon as I crack open the container, the food hypnotizes me and makes me forget to take a picture. Every dang time. Not sure how I broke the spell this time, but let me tell you, still amazing.

I live on Long Island, so in my opinion, our average Mexican food is terrible. It’s either because too fancy and expensive trying to be more than it needs to, or it’s gone commercialized that’s overpriced and inconsistent quality-wise (looking at you tacombi). In steps Orale. Food is always amazing, fresh, consistent. Best chicken quesadilla I’ve had anywhere, hands down. Their carnitas burrito is also so savory and indulgent. My wife can never finish it in one serving.

Bonus: their red and green homemade sauces are so special. Really incredible balance of heat and flavor. I never have enough of it. I’m considering applying to an unpaid internship there just to learn how to make it myself. Or maybe I can get paid in sauce. Still working through the details here.

Double bonus: their staff is personable and attentive. Feels more like getting food from a friend.

Triple bonus: I walked in one time to get a pickup order and there was a 70th birthday party there and everyone was drinking tequila. Atmosphere was electric. Fired me up. I will now plan my next birthday there.“

“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

“Noodumpling in Hicksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The dumplings are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The staff was super friendly and patient when explaining the menu, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the whole restaurant feels clean and welcoming.
If you love authentic noodles and dumplings, this place needs to be on your list. I’m already planning my next visit! 🍜🥟“

Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“The food here was absolutely outstanding! My mother and I visited, and we were both blown away. She had the four cheese ravioli with vodka sauce, and I had the pollo zingarella—both dishes were seasoned to perfection and tasted incredible. Even though it’s Italian cuisine, the food felt surprisingly light and fresh as we ate.

We travel often and consider ourselves serious food critics, and this place is hands-down the best Italian food we've ever had. In fact, it's now on our short list of the best meals we’ve enjoyed anywhere in the world!

The service was equally impressive—very personable and attentive. We even had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and shared some great tips on how to make a high-quality Marsala sauce at home.

Highly, highly recommend coming here. I’ll be making trips to Long Island just to eat here again and try more of their menu!“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. I reviewed the menu and settled on the Dragon Glazed Salmon Mac and cheese and candied yams. The meal and service was superb. I highly recommend this spot ! Don’t walk Run to this restaurant!!“

“This is one of my favorite breweries in the area, maybe even on all of Long Island, and we spend a lot of time at breweries!
I love the little outdoor area. There are umbrellaed picnic tables, adirondack chairs, and simple cocktail tables with chairs.
The beer is really good. There is always a variety from IPAs to belgiums and fruities. I believe 8 choices. Now I also see cocktails on their menu. Though as much as I am a vodka martini fan, if I can have a good beer, I always opt for the beer. But, I just overheard the guy from Sand City Brewery commenting to Melissa the bar tender, that she makes the best cocktails. So you can't not have a good night here!
My fav this summer is the Summer Seance. Its a hazy double IPA that is not too sweet, not too hoppy, and not heavy. I have never been disappointed by any of their beers.
Lindenhurst train station is walking distance. And we order food from down the road and eat at the picnic tables. Very nice evening!“

The drinks are so good, Boba always fresh and the jelly top notch. I've had way too much bubble tea in my time and nothing has really hit the quality of YAAAS. They are insanely quick with getting the drinks made and I'm talking 5+ drinks made in under 5 minutes and they all taste fresh! They have really found a way to fast track the process without compromising taste and as a girl on the go, I am so appreciative.

Aside from just the best quality drinks, they really put customer service at the top of the list. The way they take care of you, greet you the second you walk in, and always with a smile. What you'd expect from a customer facing establishment but not always the case. Absolutely love YAAAS, the flavor and service just can't be beat.“
