“My brother and I were craving a real bagel so we set out to try finding a nice place and grab a half dozen. He remembered “ Poppy’s bagels”. The staff were very nice and attentive. It’s a nice cozy place and well cared for. Clean and we definitely will be new customers of theirs. The bagels were delicious and fresh, even stopping at 1:30 in the afternoon. I was very impressed. “tonight, 6/6/26,we went for dinner at Mesita in Amityville, NY, Everything was perfect for a great dining experience. We were greeted by friendly smiling faces at the door and shown to our table straight away. We were then met by our waitress Myra, who promptly showed us a list of specials and a drink list.I had a glass of their red Sangria and my wife had one of the custom drinks, both excellent, Our meals came, both huge and more than enough for 2 meals for each of us, and I will say both meals were awesome.Please visit this awesome establishment that brings you back in time to a very authentic Mexican experience, you wont be sorry“

“Recently i heard about Bittermans bbq ...I have to say i havent had smoked ribs chicken that good in a long time ! The portions were large and the meats were moist/tender and some of the best ribs i have had in years...The coldslaw was excellent and the mashed potatoes was spot on...The owner gave me a sample of the chili pulled pork on my potatoes...These fellows know about real barbeque ...The sauce /vinegar was the perfect sauce for the chicken ribs ...Im looking forward to making another visit and trying their cornbread as well!“

“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“A perfect morning routine when catching the train from Bethpage. They have great coffee selection, and the barista is knowledgeable, and always gets my drink orders right. Also, the food is delicious! I highly recommend the egg, avocado, and honey sandwich. Messy, but totally worth it! Additionally, the space is adorable and all of the people that I have met while getting my coffee have been lovely.“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“We used iavarrone woodbury to cater a party this past weekend and it was exceptional. The packages and choices were excellent and it came perfectly packed and was 100% correct and on time. Most importantly there was plenty of food and everyone said it was delish. I would highly recommend.“

“This is one of my favorite breweries in the area, maybe even on all of Long Island, and we spend a lot of time at breweries!
I love the little outdoor area. There are umbrellaed picnic tables, adirondack chairs, and simple cocktail tables with chairs.
The beer is really good. There is always a variety from IPAs to belgiums and fruities. I believe 8 choices. Now I also see cocktails on their menu. Though as much as I am a vodka martini fan, if I can have a good beer, I always opt for the beer. But, I just overheard the guy from Sand City Brewery commenting to Melissa the bar tender, that she makes the best cocktails. So you can't not have a good night here!
My fav this summer is the Summer Seance. Its a hazy double IPA that is not too sweet, not too hoppy, and not heavy. I have never been disappointed by any of their beers.
Lindenhurst train station is walking distance. And we order food from down the road and eat at the picnic tables. Very nice evening!“

The drinks are so good, Boba always fresh and the jelly top notch. I've had way too much bubble tea in my time and nothing has really hit the quality of YAAAS. They are insanely quick with getting the drinks made and I'm talking 5+ drinks made in under 5 minutes and they all taste fresh! They have really found a way to fast track the process without compromising taste and as a girl on the go, I am so appreciative.

Aside from just the best quality drinks, they really put customer service at the top of the list. The way they take care of you, greet you the second you walk in, and always with a smile. What you'd expect from a customer facing establishment but not always the case. Absolutely love YAAAS, the flavor and service just can't be beat.“

We even had leftovers to take home! Fabio went above and beyond helping us set up the decorations the night before my party. We never felt rushed (we were there til 1am).
