“Charming and warm atmosphere . Greeted with a smile and served promptly. Try the Vietnamese cold brew! Outstanding and worth the wait. Fresh food and great gluten free choices. I’ll be back☕️Dietary restrictions: Gluten free cakes cookies and protein bars.“
“The atmosphere gets 2 stars because the music is so loud that you can't have a conversation. Maybe they keep it loud to you get out of there quicker because there's always a wait of 45 minutes or more. Sad because we've been coming here since 2013, when you could sit and enjoy a meal without ear damage. :(“
“the best bar on the island hands down ! great drinks and great atmosphere because it's ran by the kindest people it's a staple of the south shore not just babylon village and you are truly missing out if you don't go to mary's, side note they have the best food too and i highly recommend the disco fries with gravy (the best gravy i've ever had )“
“The Sea breeze is one of the greatest spots ever. They have a dart board and pool table. The Bartenders are the coolest ever. Live bands. Never any problems thanks to some awesome bouncers. If you have the time it'll be a great time. Love peace and blessings.“
“Stopped in to try and wow, I cannot wait to go back. I’m an IPA guy but they were out(which is a good thing in my opinion, means they’re not getting lazy and brewing the same thing all the time) but I got to try an amazing Saison and wonderful Stout. I didn’t get the bartenders name but she was extremely nice and informative and even let me try an IPA that was almost ready, it was a great experience. I can’t wait to go back!“
“Had a great time at Butera's in Bay Shore last night (despite it being St. Patrick's day Bar Crawl Weekend in the town). The food was outstanding! We had the Gnocchi and Lasagna and I could eat loaves of that bread if given the opportunity. I'm not a fan of Rainbow cookies or desserts in general, but the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake is a must! Can't wait to go back and try everything, because narrowing down what I wanted to eat was one of the hardest decisions of the night!“
“One of the reviews used "cute and cozy" already. Spot on. If you haven't seen it decorated for Christmas please go today. The baked goods look and taste amazing. The coffee was so fresh and flavorful. It is a hidden gem of main street. Sneak around the corner for a coffee and treat on your next walk. Bring the kids to see the decorations. Absolutely love this shop.“
“While we were waiting for the train decided to stop in and have a coffee and tea. Which both were excellent. Really enjoyed the cookie that came with the drinks. But what really made the stay enjoyable was having a conversation with E.J. the batista. He is really passionate about his work. Will definitely stop back in when I'm in town.“
“We ALWAYS LOVE dining at RCD. The ambiance is awesome. The food flavors are masterfully paired. The service is friendly.I get the strawberry fields salad with chicken. My husband got The Who; I wanted to eat his too lol! The Truffle fries are everything good and more. The owner is pleasant. She has a passion for RCD and it shows. I enjoy our conversations.I continue to bring new guests and all leave happy and well-fed.You will love this place. I do!!!“
“Best brew stop on our weekend! This place must surely feel like home to the locals. Such great staff and ownership. The brewer tour was amazing and if we'd had time we would have loved the food that was coming in the door. This definitely was the friendliest place of our 2 day stay on LI.Will be back! Thanks for the memories!“
“This was the first time I tried a bowl here. I had the purple one. It was really good! The portions are big and I loved the coconut chips. Everything tasted very fresh/natural. It smelled really good in the store too.The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the granola. It was a little too crunchy and did not have enough variety to it in my opinion. I like when granola has something else mixed into it such as nuts, seeds or dried fruit. All the staff seemed to be enjoying their job and I liked the atmosphere. I also tried a wellness shot for the first time because I’d never had anything like that before. It was interesting! I’ll def be back.“
“A group of us came here on a Sunday around 12:30 after some time in Hecksher Park 10 minute ride away close and convenient for the ride home. The bartender let us try anything on the board, and one of our friends was part of the Hidden Treasure Secret Society, he got a free flight (hiddentreasureli.com). We were definitely an eclectic crew in terms of drinks and not one person was disappointed. I had the Dub Club 2023 a hazy IPA most delicious. Another a pink looking sour, super sour for my taste but my bestie loved it. No food truck a little disappointing as it listed it on the website and this was literally my first time here in years, what luck with a hangry wife. Needless to say we had 3 and left. But for future they do allow you to bring food which is pretty amazing nowadays.“
“My family and I tried Park Avenue Grill because of their large gluten free menu. The brunch food was excellent. I tried the gluten free churro waffle bites, which were divine, and GF Tuscan eggs Benedict. There was also a decent sized vegan menu! Their specialty lattes were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy inside and they have an outdoor patio! All in all, I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu, maybe dinner next time.Dietary restrictions: They have an extensive gluten free menu and a dedicated space for itKid-friendliness: They had a decent sized kids menu that offers gluten free“
“Awesome historical spot. Warm atmosphere with old Christmas cartoons projected in the wall, good music. Got to chop it up with one of the owners and he was a real good dude. I had two beers. Both were great. My only regret was not visiting this place sooner. I'll definitely be back. Cheers ?“
“The burgers taste like you’re at a cook out, nothing special but nothing bad, the shrimp is a no go for me but their shakes and fries are five guys beatable, atmosphere is very retro but not overly welcoming as the staff, they can be a bit blunt and ready to push you in and out on busier days but I don’t blame them with the capacity they hold sometimes, but staff could be nicer and patient . For the menu sake it’s cheap and you could get a meal for three people under $30 which is not easy to find. Nothing is heavily seasoned or much seasoning but still pretty tasty and decent“
“This place is awesome. We've been here several times since it has opened in Plainview and we've never been disappointed by the meal. Today we had the chicken wings as appetizer, the Reuben and the Eggs Benedict made up our main. Everything was totally delicious. The Shed lemonade well worth it. The service was fantastic, thank you Eraldo F. From previous visits we've enjoyed the chicken and waffles, omelet, chilaquiles(was a special, not on regular menu) and so much more!!!“
“Exceptional service. The server we got was very sweet and polite (forgot her name). Food came out fast and we didn’t have to wait too long to be seated. Cinnamon pancakes were good (5/5), strawberry lemonade was okay (4/5), southwest turkey wrap was delicious (5/5). My friend ordered a special drink they had (red velvet cappuccino). He said it was very delicious and flavorful“
“I’m not typically someone who writes reviews but my husband and I have been looking for different coffee shops to go to around the island and I came across Anchor. After reading some negative reviews together we decided to try it out for ourselves. I must say I don’t agree with any of them. The staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was very nice, I’m not sure what some people meant by the vibe seeming “fake” but I definitely didn’t feel that way. They had pretty good food options for breakfast and lunch and an assortment of pastries as well. For the reviews about the owner, I didn’t talk to him myself but I heard him talking to staff and other customers and he seemed like a very normal dude. Overall I just wanted to say I don’t agree with the bad reviews..“
“Finally got over to try them and so glad I did. A few tables and the bar in front and more tables in back & outside in the back. Lots of options on tap, friendly server. I got L. Bee's knees brewed with honey, lavender & sage. I really like it! Then tried the killer queen, filled with warm spices, wow it was good, took some home. I highly recommend you go!“
“Just as good as the OG location in Northport Village, with the same awesome beers on tap, but with a different vibe. While Northport's smallish tasting room is funky and intimate, the South location in Lindenhurst is much larger and well suited for bigger groups. My company had a team outing there and midday libations were divine.“
“Good Tap choices. Very chill atmosphere and you get a choice of 4oz pour up to a growler pour of 64oz. Choices not many breweries have. Friendly staff. Appears kid friendly too for those with families. Next time I’m in Long Island I’ll stop by again.“
“We had our girl scout pizza party here today and the business owners went above and beyond to accommodate our young girls and to ensure they would have a great time. They accommodated our food allergies and were very reasonable with the pricing. Thank you so much for your patience and attention to us! Our troop had a great time. Even the adults loved the pizza and we look forward to dining here again soon!“
“Never disappointed by TBC. I love the variety on their menu - often different styles of beer from anything else I typically run into at a craft brewery. The space is super roomy, industrial yet comfortable, with plants everywhere, video games, darts, fooseball and other activities. Staff is quirky and fun - we usually go to visit Ashley on Wednesdays and it’s always a great time. There’s often a killer food truck parked outside, and we always make it a point to attend Sundaze at the brewery, the last Sunday of every month - such an awesome weed-friendly event. Don’t sleep on this place - the down-to-earth atmosphere and delicious brews will keep you coming back for more. And to the male Karen (would that be a Chad?) whining about them closing for private events down below - grow up. The world doesn’t revolve around you.“
“We stopped here after going to an event my wife was at in Bayshore. Pretty good food. Actually. I didn't have a burger but I did have the pretzel sticks and chicken tenders with some cheese fries. My son got a s'mores milkshake and he loved it. I would probably come back here to actually have a burger. Otherwise nice place.“
“Most amazing customer service! The lovely girl working at the front listened to my needs and went above and beyond to show me various options for my event. So much patience and understanding to find me the best choices! I could not ask for a better experience at a liquor store! Thank you!“
“Wonderful! In the mood for a casual meal, we decided to try the bistro. We had been to the Bellmore location and were very pleased. The mushroom Bisque was excellent, the cauliflower appetizer was perfect, and the Loco Moco burger was wonderful. For dessert we had the brownie sundae and Bavarian crème churros. Outstanding! Service by Alison was amazing. Love this place!!!!“
“A very cool spot, also attached to the Ghost Brewery. Great music, amazing pizza! Great beer. We will be back for sure. Go check out Ghost in the back, a separate brewery but owned by them. Have the Corn Mexican pizza and the 5th Ave. Freaking great! We used our Habitat for Humanity card for a free beer! Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!“
“First time here. Food is excellent. Steak cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. Service was excellent. Hernan (our server) was so pleasant, I would recommend asking for him if he’s available.A very chill atmosphere and great food. What else could you ask for. Also, a great selection of booze.“
“So good! The cheesesteak is flavorful and the people on the truck are always kind and friendly. I like the ease of ordering online now. You won't regret ordering from the truck or visiting any of the Chiddy's locations. Good for them being able to expand to store fronts!“
“I had my son take us there for my Birthday.Had a lot of fun. We got there a little early but it started off well the water was right there they we're pulling in on boats and jet skis. The band started to play we ordered drinks and appetizers. The music was good the drinks were good the food was good. It was a great time and will definitely be back. The band that played was burn unit they were really good.!!!“
“I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday party recently. The staff was very friendly while taking my order with special attention to detail. They were also very accommodating toward food allergies. The cake came out absolutely beautiful and delicious! And enough to feed a small army (although different sizes are available). We received a lot of compliments on it.Thank you, Catch the Wave! Wonderful job!“
“Love this little restaurant in the town of Amityville. Been here several times for breakfast and never disappointed! Food was delicious and I appreciated a normal size of home fries. Unique atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Plan on returning to try some lunch dishes.“
“Excellent food. Went here for an after celebration of life and enjoyed the fact that it was early and not crowded. Even though we phoned ahead they were not ready for us. The food was excellent as was the service after waiting for them to set up. There was 12 of us and we had their specials which included Pastrami Ruben and since it’s Octoberfest the wife had sausage kraut and red cabbage. Excellent. I would recommend this place for a good bite to eat. No complaints on the food or server.“
“First time dining here and I loved everything ❤️ The ambiance was beautiful, staff were friendly and attentive, food was delicious ? Loved the names of the dishes. They have a huge outdoor area that opens up in May and allows dogs ? I'll be visiting again in the summer with Kiko. They have live music ? on the weekends too.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of options to choose from.Parking: Plenty of parking in front and off to the left of entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to enter the restaurant.“
“It's in a gas station so the atmosphere is... Well there is none. You can go inside and order and sit down at the few tables and eat if you want. The woman at the counter is so nice and the food is delicious. We have had the gyro both times eating there but the menu shows many other options that look great to us. I'd love to go back and order something different next time.Parking: There are a few spots in the gas station parking lot right up against the mini Mart building.“
“We had SUCH a great time here. Service was excellent. The playlist is so fun, and the bartender was incredibly personable. I was joking about loving fig jam so he surprised me a fig cocktail! Now THAT is service! Love this place! (Also the pretzel bites with Brie and fig were phenomenal, but of course I’m biased as a fig fan ?)“
“The food here is so delicious and I love the atmosphere as well. They have creative drinks that taste strong every time! If you go for brunch I would definitely recommend the blueberry pancakes--I can't stop thinking about them! You really can't go wrong with anything here! Service is always great as well.“
