The meal preps are phenomenal also, I usually cook at home so I don’t get them much but whenever I don’t this is the first place I go. I try to stay away from processed fast food and stick to Whole Foods that I know are cooked with peoples health in mind. Keep it up!“

“Fantastic meal tonight. We had several food allergies including gluten and dairy. They were amazing at making sure that we had several options to meet all of our dietary needs. The owner came out and explained the menu to us. They were unbelievably helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! “the food was delicious, I’m in love with this restaurant, I love lahmacun and the kebap and the gyro. You really do get the taste of food in Türkiye in Long Island. They now have pastry department. I tried few of them and took some home. They’re unbelievably delicious. The sweet taste is very well balanced on the deserts and it doesn’t overwhelm you. Love it.“

“Last night we had a delectable dinner at Basil. The chilien sea bass jumped from the sea in my plate. The seasoning was perfect. The rice was cooked to perfection. The cuisine is light and tasty. My husband had the beef skewers which he enjoyed and he is very difficult to please. Desert got a high mark with the baklava and the chocolate bread pudding which you should not miss. The service was perfect. The ambiance was noisy and bubbly. We will definitely return to Basil for its excellent table.“

“Pita House is a fantastic restaurant. I eat there several times a month and am always greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly proprietor and his staff. Two of my favorite dishes are the hummus sandwich with grilled vegetables and the the Sautee Lamb. They also have the Turkish beer, Efes, which is excellent. Check this place out!“

“I turned the car around because the sign said "dollar oysters." Worth every second doing so and every penny. Apparently this is a Tuesday special and if you're not into oysters, they also do clams. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Cassie, the bartender was friendly, super efficient and convinced me into 10 more oysters after my initial order of 15. They were cold and fresh, and came with all the fixings. Their mingonette was all I really needed. I saw a few other dishes coming out of the kitchen and they all looked great. A few folks at the bar got some healthy looking pours and the mussels smelled divine. Totally worth stopping in.“

“My first time eating here, the cashier (I didn't catch her name) and the cook was wonderful people. I ordered a buss up but they don't do buss up, so I got a regular roti. I was skeptical at first, I had a bad experience when I went to a Guyanese restaurant in Brooklyn and it was bad, however this is so good, the empanada my son had, he said was the best he ever ate. This is a hidden jewel. If you love Caribbean food this is another spot to come. It mostly take out, parking is small but they're spaces on the other side of building which is a little bigger. “Such nice, fresh food again this afternoon. Our waitress was friendly and professional (Ciarra) and the guys were flexible about keeping tomatoes and peppers out of our salads--THANK YOU. They used shredded lettuce as a base, which meant an extra step for them. We really enjoy the salads, their dressing really makes it. And the yogurt sauce never disappoints. Chicken souvlaki is such a favorite that we almost can't bring ourselves to try new dishes? Whole wheat pita is really appreciated by our family. Cinnamon and almond cookies are special!
