“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“the food was delicious, I’m in love with this restaurant, I love lahmacun and the kebap and the gyro. You really do get the taste of food in Türkiye in Long Island. They now have pastry department. I tried few of them and took some home. They’re unbelievably delicious. The sweet taste is very well balanced on the deserts and it doesn’t overwhelm you. Love it.“

“We have been here many times - the food is delicious, authentic, and Andreas + Pascalia are so warm and welcoming. Being half Cypriot myself, I can say it feels like home with food and family included. I will continue to return and I will also add that our Yiayia absolutely loved it here - for those with a Yiayia, you know that speaks volumes!!“

“Last night we had a delectable dinner at Basil. The chilien sea bass jumped from the sea in my plate. The seasoning was perfect. The rice was cooked to perfection. The cuisine is light and tasty. My husband had the beef skewers which he enjoyed and he is very difficult to please. Desert got a high mark with the baklava and the chocolate bread pudding which you should not miss. The service was perfect. The ambiance was noisy and bubbly. We will definitely return to Basil for its excellent table.“

“Pete, the Greek, small in appearance, but big on food, quality and taste. Limited seating most of the business is takeout, but don't let that stop you from coming and sitting down and enjoying a good meal. The restaurant has their contemporary look steel seats, wooden tables with black subway tile walls. Fast friendly service with average prices. Ample parking, so no need to worry. Ciao for Now.“
“My boyfriend and I absolutely love anything, Mediterranean, but on Long Island believe it or not there's not many restaurants that do it well. We've passed this restaurant 1 million times and have had it on our list to try, I'm so glad we finally did! I'll start with saying that we went late on a Saturday night around 9 o'clock, which we were skeptical about because we know it says they close at nine, however, they were so welcoming as soon as we walked in the door even though they were winding down for the night. The decor was beautiful, service was very good. The cocktails phenomenal, and the starters were even better. The chicken wings were probably some of the best I've ever had! The Greek salad was so fresh and delicious, and our mains blew us away. From the moment we walked into desert we couldn't stop saying "wow". Highly recommend, we will be back!“

“My first time eating here, the cashier (I didn't catch her name) and the cook was wonderful people. I ordered a buss up but they don't do buss up, so I got a regular roti. I was skeptical at first, I had a bad experience when I went to a Guyanese restaurant in Brooklyn and it was bad, however this is so good, the empanada my son had, he said was the best he ever ate. This is a hidden jewel. If you love Caribbean food this is another spot to come. It mostly take out, parking is small but they're spaces on the other side of building which is a little bigger. You will enjoy the meal. This place been open for two years now, support them. And the music is mellow.Thank you!!!!“

We ordered the grilled calamari, chicken kabob dinner, chicken souvlaki sandwich, lemon chicken soup, Greek fries, and a side of sautéed spinach. Every item was fresh and flavored perfectly. Our waitress was delightful We will all be returning soon, and are looking forward to trying the daily specials“

“I took my mom for Mother's Day and they had an exceptional displays of food . Soo much variety . Organic Salmon, chicken piccata, chicken parm . Moussaka, Calamari . Bacon, eggs pancakes waffles . Croissants muffins cakes yogurt parfait. Cheese, breads. A chocolate fondue fountain. Cheese pies. Continental mixed w Greek food. Loved it . Love the ambience . The negative was the prime rib at carving station was way overcooked. Also the beef sliders overcooked as well. A little disappointed as all the other food was great! Also the service was not good. Possibly because gratuity was included. The waiter poured a slight bit of water for my mom then walked away... odd . We could barely get his attention for anything.“

“Such nice, fresh food again this afternoon. Our waitress was friendly and professional (Ciarra) and the guys were flexible about keeping tomatoes and peppers out of our salads--THANK YOU. They used shredded lettuce as a base, which meant an extra step for them. We really enjoy the salads, their dressing really makes it. And the yogurt sauce never disappoints. Chicken souvlaki is such a favorite that we almost can't bring ourselves to try new dishes? Whole wheat pita is really appreciated by our family. Cinnamon and almond cookies are special! Thanks ZORBA.“

“This place is fantastic. The meats and hummus are really tasty and fresh. The bread is wonderful!! Salad is great although they put green peppers in the salad but it’s not overwhelming and even if you don’t like bell peppers, you may not notice. Service is great, friendly, and the food is 100% authentic!!“
