“A true local sports bar with small-town vibes, cold beers, and TVs always tuned to the game — but don’t let the no-frills atmosphere fool you. This might be the best pub food on Long Island, and that’s a hill worth dying on.
The brisket sandwich is smoky and stacked, the Philly cheesesteak hits all the greasy, glorious notes you want… but let’s be clear: the pastrami sandwich is the main event. It’s piled high, ridiculously flavorful, and good enough to make you forget whatever team you’re rooting for is probably losing.
Come hungry, leave happy, and don’t expect anything fancy — just great food, strong local energy, and zero pretension. This is the kind of place that turns first-timers into regulars.“

“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. There are so many food options on the menu, it caters to everyone's tastes. Definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to it!!“

“The Food is so so good. Always hot and fresh. I havt tried anything on the menu I didnt love. But the customer service is what makes them set the bar so high for others. Im hurt and cant walk. The grubhub guy forgot my kids food and one of the employees drove it to my house bc she felt so bad. They are the best!“
