“When you eat out you don't expect to get the same frozen chicken you can buy in a Tyson bag from Walmart. The fries were an improvement from what I remember after they got rid of tenders but by god I miss the KFC glory days.

Store-made chicken. Snackers. Potato Wedges. Popcorn Chicken. Delicious Mashed Potatoes AND in reasonable portions, gravy to send you to "flavor town"...

I used to LOVE the food here 15 years ago, but it seems like corporate just dragged everything downhill. All the flavor and quality was drained and now it's just a sad husk of an establishment, gouging the customers that do come to make up for the volume they used to pull.

Heck, I am tempted to become a share-holder because they actually get to taste what they USED to sell.“

Delivery brings it down to four stars, sadly. Somethings always missing, unfortunately. “So today I went to this Jersey Mikes in Pt Jef to get sandwiches for our flight back to Florida. I had accumulated shore points and decided to use some today except that when check out time came they’re system wasn’t able to use the points because apparently I had a security code ( that I never knew I had) and without me entering the code it wasn’t happening. So after a few attempts Laura the owner/mgr told me they would be on the house ! I offered to pay but she insisted on comping me. I left my phone number so if they figured out the problem I would come back and they could take my points. A little later Danny called me and told me how to fix it on the app and it worked. At bk, I got 2 for $5 whopper Jr's., rodeo burger, value fries, chicken jr sandwich n chocolate orep shake, $17 total. Cashier commented that was a good deal for all that food. As if he never rang that combo up before. And as if, we were filming a commercial. With the grab of the bag and shake, the finished product was created. Off I drove, to watch the NY BASEBALL teams play. I remember when value menu was $1, not anymore. Fries were $2.19 and sandwiches $2 n up. Bk is better than McDonald's imo because it seems cooked better. Call it flame broiled, the 2 words seemingly engrained in our collective brains. I came to give a great review because we've been ordering here since they opened as we have been happy to not have to drive to Holbrook anymore. And the food and service have both been great!! “As one of the renovated McDonalds locations on Long Island, the location is immaculate. The staff is friendly and patient with those of us not used to using the kiosk. And the renos are comfortable with larger group seating which is helpful when you have many kids and parents. Bilingual staff allows for more community members to be served.“
