“This was our first time coming. It’s a bit out of the way for us but totally worth the drive. The prices are great and the service is prompt and friendly. We had two appetizers. The edamame and the calamari. Both were delicious. My husband had kimchi soup and I had miso soup. We both got salads with the meal. My husband had shrimp teriyaki and I had a bento box with shrimp teriyaki, California rolls and shumai. Both meals came with white rice. The meal was fantastic. I had plumb wine and my husband had a beer. We have leftovers for lunch tomorrow ?. We highly recommend this restaurant. It also has a lunch menu but we were there for an early dinner.Parking: There is plenty of parking. I believe there were two handicapped spots and a ramp.“
“This place seemed very trendy and I was skeptical. But after having quite a few appetizers and my entree and even dessert (something I normally don't have) it all blew everything out of the water. Everything was so flavorful and filling. Even my drink was perfectly balanced and heavenly. I knew the meal would be good, but I never imagined it as good as it was. I understand why the place was completely packed. You just have to go. I enjoyed some other steak places on LI and was very impressed, but Insignia was better than I could have ever imagined.“
“Love this place! Service is polite and quick. Sushi is amazing and the rolls are always fresh. They have so many delicious rolls to choose from. I highly recommend the spicy Kani roll, salmon avocado, snow mountain, and golden shrimp tempura. And tasty house hot sake.“
“At least thirty years of learning about the mysteries of sushi - from how luxurious and expensive and new it was in New York City in the eighties and slowly seeing it become more accessible and its ranges from upscale restaurants to relaxed lunch specials. From uptown Manhattan fusion kinds to the most basic California roll of the gas station. Sushi lovers like myself know that it's an easy fix on any day and it's always satisfying, and it's always fun to travel near and far to find the best. What I DID NOT SEE COMING was that the BEST SUSHI I would have to date would be on Horseblock Rd. in Farmingville of all places that I've had it. Sam's. Holy cow. It's not only the sushi. It's the soup. The ease and warmth of their welcome. The price. The fresh fruit with the check. WHAT A GEM. I tell all my stuffy NYC foodie friends about this inconspicuous place and its location because they deserve the slap in the face. Sam's. Keep doing whatever you're doing!“
“Went here for my partners birthday dinner: insanely delicious food!!!! Had the Szechuan Tomahawk Short Rib (pictured below) and the a shrimp dish. The Szechuan Tomahawk Short Rib was out of this world!! The shrimp dish was okay. The spicy edamame was to die for!!!“
“Stopped by for an early dinner. The food is outstanding - the sushi is fresh and at a very reasonable price. I moved out east and miss good, quality sushi. I almost had a tear in my eye when I bit into the first piece, it was that good. The folks that work there are professional and friendly. Worth the hour drive, will gladly do it again soon.“
“I was so hungry, I took a bite before I remembered to take a picture! The last time I was in this area for work I had both dinner and lunch the next day at this restaurant. This time I was considering trying another place a little further away, but since the weather is nasty, I decided to stay close to my hotel, and come here again. The sushi does not disappoint. I started with the colorful role and my own creation of a salmon hand roll with Ikura. It's a great combination, you should try it! I decided I was still hungry, but trying to get a hold of my waiter to order some more food was difficult. Even though it was in the wrong order, I decided I needed a bowl of miso soup. I wish they had Inari sushi, but they didn't so I settled for a piece of tamago just to have something sweet to end with. The restaurant is a little bit noisy, but otherwise comfortable. There is an excellent chance. I will be back for lunch again tomorrow!“
“It's a nice family owned place. It is the go-to lunch Japanese place for everyone in my department.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my dietary restrictions. I would recommend being knowledgeable about your restrictions because they are knowledgeable about what they serve.“
“I loved dining at this place! By far my favorite restaurant that serves Asian food! There was a large selection of sushi special rolls that were each uniquely different from each other. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant and the servers were super polite. Food arrived fast as well! The experience was amazing, definitely coming back!“
“My wife and I order out sushi all the time. We used to order from somewhere else and were disappointed when that place made their sushi smaller. We found out several places actually started charging more and providing less. A friend recommended A&A and we haven’t looked back. The sushi is fantastic quality and taste and they never skimp on ingredients. For larger orders they have a menu of pre-selected items that is very convenient and cost effective. Definitely worth every penny. I can’t say enough good things. Look no further for sushi.Ps-they have out free sake and $15 gift certificates with orders of $100 or more during the Dec holidays, which was a nice touch.“
“My favorite poke bowl place! Have been / ordered in Uber eats easily over 10 times and have had the most delicious poke bowl EVERY time and they get the orders perfect always. Not to mention when I do go there the staff is so wonderful. A must go!!!“
“My favorite place. Great prices, great food and a lovely staff.Vegetarian options: I'm vegan there's tons of options. But be careful some items need modification when ordering. Like no sauce on fried Oreos or the sweet potato tempora rolls. And the tofu normally comes with fish flakes on top.“
“Friendly and fast service, very attentive. Sushi and drinks were very good. They have a variety of places to sit, for example at the bar, in a booth, at a high top, at the sushi bar, or at a regular table. Everything seemed clean and well organized.“
“Excellent, fresh food. Clean atmosphere with the nicest, kindest staff you ever want to meet! We try to come here every week and highly recommend Tomo! I haven’t eaten ANYTHING that wasn’t good and my husband has eaten every special roll they offer and many of their other entrees, he has no favorite. My Aunt who introduced us to this restaurant loves the falling in love roll and the carpaccio appetizer, the Godzilla roll is one of my faves along with the crunchy crunchy appetizer.“
“This is the greast and best sushi I've ever had in my life. The nigiri tastes incredibly fresh and it melts in your mouth. The service never disappoints as we are always welcomed with open arms and positive energy from the owner. The Kings roll and jade roll are personally among my favorite. The best part about this restaurant is the price for all you can eat sushi is literally unbeatable. I highly recommend this place if you're planning on havimg sushi for lunch or dinner!“
“I love Hana's. I have been going here for over 20 years. It's a hidden treasure. My favorites are the Godzilla & the Hana Wings. Along with the Jimmy roll or any of the sushi. It is always fresh and great tasting. Many to choose from. The hot stone Bibim Bab delish! Just FYI - they don't open until 4 pm. Check the website. Parking is by Grumpy Jack's & you walk a very short path to Hana's. It won't stop you from going. ????“
“Very pleasant experience with an attentive, knowledgeable server. Cocktails were tasty & nicely presented. The bar is spacious and trendy ... a perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks. The weather was uncooperative or we would've loved to enjoy them immediately outside this area on the patio with a fire pit and other fire features. The dining room is busy but the booth type seating gives a private feel. Food was beyond delicious. Between our party of 4 galfriends, we enjoyed sushi, seafood & beef entrees. Everyone was absolutely satisfied with their choices; the preparation, presentation and flavors- on point. H2O has been a fave for years, truly never disappoints“
“The all you can eat sushi experience! You get 3 rounds and each round you mark your preference down on that checkbox piece of paper and they bring it to your table. Drinks are extra and they have a few bottled beer selections. Go for one round of 10 sashimi and ask the server to name them when it comes to your table. Remember the ones you like and order more in the following rounds. Go easy on the drinks I'd say coz you won't get to that 3rd round after a couple of sodas or beers ?“
“An undefeatable classic, the Chicken Teriyaki is food of the Gods and is hard to beat. Try as you may to replicate it at home, it won't taste as good as it does here at Little Tokyo, formerly known as Sarku Japan. This even beats out other malls with similar stores. The beef teriyaki is not as good, but interesting for a change. There can be a bit of a language barrier if you're asking for something odd or in the wrong fashion (I still recall years ago having a manager legit confused and annoyed with me that I referred to "beef" as "steak") But once you know how to order, it's a smooth, systemic process. The new young lady there over the past few years has been pretty solid with the ordering process as well. The secret is asking for that extra dollop of sauce at the end. Little Tokyo - Ichiban!“
“This restaurant lives up to its name with congratulations and longevity. The fish is so fresh that it melts in your mouth. Every dish is cooked just right without anything to complain about. Try the bento box, sashimi or omakase, and unadorned at lunch. Their prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients and well they cook everything. To top it off, service is helpful, friendly, and fast. Parking is ample in the lot and there are stores in the strip mall to hang around if there is a line. We'll be back for sure given it's so hard to find a place this yummy at a deal too!“
“I'm really glad I found this sushi place near me. As far as sushi is concerned what would you be looking for? Cleanliness certainly, unique and traditional sushi rolls, and friendly service. Wild Ginger does hit those marks. If your in the area, live nearby, I'd say give this a go. I was super happy with our waitress who was really helpful and really nice.“
“After reading the reviews, I was a bit surprised at the negativity. The AYCE is truly AYCE and the food arrives promptly. The staff are very friendly and check on you frequently. For the price, the selection is very good and the sushi is fresh. Furthermore, they don't overload you on rice like some AYCE sushi places do. Obviously it is not going to be Michelin or quality, but every dish was beyond palatable and you definitely get your moneys worth! I would say the AYCE is a must try in the SB area.“
“I grew up going there. I always liked it. I would get the chicken and broccoli with white sauce, white rice. I would get wonton soup and shrimp roll. It's been there over 30 years. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“
“We have been coming to Domo for a few years now and have never been disappointed! Shelly and her staff are so welcoming, the sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious, the rolls are creative and unique, and the Omakase is a must for special occasions! We are so lucky to have found Domo!“
