Stopped at this classic roadside institution. Had the ice cream cones. Excellent, creamy, and low priced. Was tended to by a couple of Amish women who were very polite. Beautiful day to sit at the picnic tables for refreshing ice cream.

On our way into Cooperstown, my wife and I made a quick stop at Dairyland for some ice cream, and it was so good that we ended up coming back for the food. The smell alone was enough to pull us in, and we weren't disappointed. We tried the pizza burger, crispy chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings, and clam strips—everything was fantastic. You can tell it's all made to order, and it really makes a difference. I heard the owners just took over, so the staff seemed a bit disorganized at times, but our food came out quickly and perfectly cooked. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, which is a rare find in Cooperstown's tourist-heavy area. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.
Parking: Its a roodside building, think 1920 car hop kinda building.
Kid-friendliness: There are trees to climb and grass to run around in.
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is paved and you can roll right up to an ordering window and the pick nick tables

Not worth the money. The cones and scoops are so small and the prices are high. Do not recommend

I drive 45 miles just to have his hot fudge sundea and onion rings.
First visit cruising through the area, Real Shakes and a good variety of ice creams to choose from! Will definitely be back.

Portions today were really really small!!!
Definitely not the old Dairy Land. Last time we will be coming here. Barely any meat on the steak sandwich, you can see it’s mostly bread. Price went up though. Also…$8.50 for run of the mill mozzarella sticks. If I’m paying $8.50 for a sliver of breaded mozzarella it better be overnighted from Italy. Never again.

Always great!
Good ice cream and lots of room for kids to run on the grass. Several tables and a bathroom at this stop which we appreciate. Variety of choices for food and ice cream.
Always great! Super creamy soft serve.
One of our favorite icecream places in the area. Great selection of soft serve flavor options(quite possibly the most I've seen anywhere). Good take out or dine at food. My husband loves their wings!
Alot of ice cream for a good price
