Had an absolutely delicious Prime Rib supper at The Fancy Farmer! The cut was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were generous and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
You can really tell the care they put into both the food and the service. It’s a hidden gem in Sharon Springs, and I’ll definitely be back for another meal soon. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving a hearty, satisfying dinner!

We stumbled on this place on our way home from the Erie Canal. It was pretty nice, the food was typical bar food and the drinks were decent. No complaints. Worth a visit if you are in Sharon Springs....

This is a wonderful restaurant. Friendly service, delicious food. The meat is extremely fresh and tender. I had the fancy chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots. Big portion sizes. Delicious desserts to end the meal. Highly recommend!!!

Worst night ever. We went to dinner with family from out of state, for a birthday celebration. We waited an hour for our meals and only half the table got their dinners. The two dinners that arrived were scallops and the foot was left on the scallops! The third dinner arrived... prime rib- it was barely warm. The 4th dinner came out 15 minutes later and we sent it back. I felt bad for the server! if the owner is on the line and can't keep up then she shouldn't be cooking the meals. Our night was totally ruined. We will never go back and will never, ever recommend this restaurant!

My husband and I came here tonight for the first time for dinner and it was INCREDIBLE. Our drinks were delicious as well and the staff were very friendly and inviting. We are tractor lovers (my husband has a tractor business) so the atmosphere made us feel very comfortable. Beautiful attention to every detail. We highly recommend Fancy Farmer and we definitely will be frequent visitors!
