“The employees are all super kind: the cooks in the back all have a positive attitude and the managers will make sure they take care of you. Their red haired employee is our favorite, engaging in lots of conversation and makes sure to ensure your order is correct.“
“LOVE this McDonald's! Norma, the manager, is wonderful. The staff is friendly, efficient, competent. They know their customers and their orders. And they have been playing Christmas music and it's so nice and peaceful. Great management and great crew! Thank you all!“
“We had my sister’s baby shower here over the weekend & we’re thrilled with how everything came out. The party room is very spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! The staff was super attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend considering Nosh for your next party event!!“
“So... where do I begin. Everything starts at the top. When a restaurant goes downhill, it's ownership. Well. In this case. This owner is incredible. We've been here a few times, and every time is better than the next. The French board was insane. With cheeses and patè... jams. Pickles. Expertly put together. The burratta was amazing. Sweet glaze with savory notes. The main course, orcchietta pasta with sausage and pesto with red peppers. Amazing. The grilled octopus with summer corn and beans was perfect. I really can't say enough good things about this place. 10 stars if I could. I'd take pictures of the food, but it's gone!“
“Tiffani (owner) runs such a wonderful business with such a friendly staff who all make you feel like family! Also a huge plus that every menu item is fantastic! Strongly recommend the cosmic swirl and the over the moon fries! I always bring a cosmos cake the table now! You should do the same! Looking forward to our next space landing at cosmos ! Keep up the amazing work guys“
“Truly a descent into insanity. Every surface was a technicolor dreamscape bereft of any connection to the mortal plane. Walking into the diner gave me a migraine, but the food was delightful and the service was wonderful. My future brother in law, who has autism, says that this is a great place to meet friends in the bathroom. He ordered the chicken parmesan, and he gazed upon it it like an old man looks upon the sea. It truly stretched to the horizon, a veritable kiddie pool of pasta and chicken for only $28.95.The menu is too long, but at least your overstimulated father in law can order a ham steak with fruit salad on top. Adding to the mild absurdity of the menu was the "hot vegetable dinner" being one of the few distinguished members of the Dairy Dishes subcategory.Parking: good parking yes“
“Food and drinks were great. Our waiter came to our table as soon as we were seated and checked in throughout our meal to see if we needed anything. The pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries was really good.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and restroom are both accessible.“
“We stumbled across this place while waiting for our ferry during a New England road trip. Upon seeing prices that looked like they were from a bygone era (it's not just the lobster), we had quite a few items from their eclectic menu. Everything was made to order and our food was delivered much more quickly than the average fast-food joint by a server who treated us like old friends. The atmosphere is unpretentious and super chill - perfect for sports fans looking to hang out alone or with friends. It's a must-visit place if you're passing through the area for any reason.“
“I've ordered a few times, it's always good. The Fries are absolutely bangin, onion rings crispy, chicken tenders are huge and the peri peri sauce is slammin. Mambo sauce is hella good too. Will def keep ordering here. Food came hot, nothing soggy or cold.“
“This is the 2nd time I've visited MaBella, and it was another delightful experience! The chicken franchise was delicious, as was the warm bread. The service is impeccable, the water glasses are quickly refilled, and the servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We split dessert, and the NY Cheesecake was wonderful, as was the Affogato! We'll be back!“
“Never order the liquor. First, let me say the food is wonderful. The servers are quite kind. But again, DON'T ORDER THE LIQUOR. I asked for an Old Fashioned at first; I saw they had a collection of whiskey, so I figured it wouldn't be that big of an ask. Unfortunately, neither the server nor whoever they had working behind the counter seemed to know very much about making drinks. So instead I just ordered a Jack & Coke.$12.95 for a freaking Jack & Coke. That's insane! They'd make back the bottle in 3 drinks! Jack Daniels is NOT pricey. I've paid less for elevated cocktails in the city. And had they given me a good cocktail, I would've said that was a fair price. But no, they gave me a splash of jack with a heavy dose of soda. That's $8 max, not $12.95. I should've known better than to order it when I didn't see the liquor menu, I guess.Aside from that, the food is some of the best on the Island and the service is phenomenal. Tip 'em well, they deserve it.“
“Very cool local and place with amazing food and service. I drink coffee and water. I went once and they didn't have coffee and waitress sent her parent to supermarket to get met parents and I was impressed was earlier in the day. Would truly and wholeheartedly recommended Shenanigans Cafe. Everyone there is always laughing and in good mood.“
“The service was good, they had an indie music playlist playing which made it feel cozy inside and the food was delicious! Much better than trying to get dinner from the hotel we stayed at from a price stand point, for sure! We got two runaway burgers and jalapeño poppers. The sauce that came with the poppers was so good, we even put it on the burgers! 10/10 will definitely be coming back“
“So glad we went! My wife and I came in thinking we would try the place out for hamburgers. Thanks to our superb waiter (I believe his name is Marty), he told us about the special that they had, and it was too good of a deal to pass up. The chicken sandwich was delicious, and truth be told would have been well worth it at the regular price, but as a special, it was a steal! For an app we decided to split the pretzel. It was quite large, had great dips to go along with it, and came out warm, fresh, and perfect. The chicken sandwich (we both ordered it) was flavorful and moist, and great sauces to accompany it, which we enjoyed with the French fries. We could not finish it all, but that did not stop us from enjoying the milk shakes at the end.I'm so grateful for the waiter telling us about the special, and he was extremely attentive and personable. I can honestly say he treated us as if we were dear friends, and could not have been better.Looking forward to going back and eventually trying the burgers, as they looked fantastic!!“
“Just left and had a great meal. Sat at the bar and had wonderful service from the barmaid Justine. I had the boneless wings with oldbay which were awesome and for dinner I had the Cajun Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was great, bunch of chicken and great Caesar dressing which I'm guessing is homemade. I've had a few meals here and this is by far the best item on the menu!“
“Food was delicious! My onlyComplaint is that the Cajun chicken I ordered was dry :( but hey, could have just been one of those nights. Definitely recommend food from here - always delicious, good amount for the price and the service is topTier!“
“Scouted six different Cajun style restaurants in Long Island. Wound up in the farthest location with the best menu, the best service, and the best flavors. Totally enjoyed that jambalaya, seafood specials for fabulous, stuffed mushrooms were delicious.Wonderful venue for our small party. Service was very attentive, and the menu selection made everyone happy. Worth the drive from Connecticut for a wonderful evening“
“Waitress was really nice and accommodating. The food came out pretty fast. But even without extra jalapeños and BBQ sauce it was pretty bland.Think most of the food is from frozen so it's ok for the price. But my the kids Mac and cheese was dry and had no real cheese or flavor. The blackberry fribble was great I'm lactose intolerant and I suffered for it but I finished it haha.Overall great for dessert. But even with the kids menu and options, the food is lacking. Also the Mac and cheese bites are basically little mozzarella Nugs. Not Mac and cheese!Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids. But taste isn't great. I have a picky Eater she's eat plain foods but even hers was too bland. Dry Mac and cheese with no cheese at all. Basically just yellow macaroni. She added water to it. And asked where the cheese was ?“
“The staff was friendly. The food came out quickly and it was all delicious. I had a cheeseburger, hotdog , and fries. The only thing I didn't really care for was the cheese sauce that I bought to dip my fries in. It just had a weird taste. I would eat there again next time I'm in the area.“
“We enjoyed the Angus cheeseburgers at BurgerFi. The BurgerFi name stamped on the roll was a nice touch. The burgers were cooked well and made with quality ingredients. The veggie burger was moist, with fresh lettuce on a multi-grain bun. The shakes are flavorful and thick. BurgerFi's onion rings were the best I have had in a long time. They were large, crispy, not too doughy. The original jumbo chicken wings were very tasty. The restaurant was wide open with high ceilings and plenty of seating. There are tables outside for dining when the weather is nice.“
“Best homemade taste around! This place is a real treatVegetarian options: I have burgers with the vegetable toppings as far as vegetarian I am sure they have thisKid-friendliness: Kids are fine to sit withWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room“
“Without a doubt, this is one of the best Applebee's I've been to in a long time...The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is great as well. Friendly, and on point. The manager / bartender, Crystal, is a gem. Hardworking, outgoing, and a pleasure to talk to. I look forward to coming here after a long work dayto relax, have some beers at the bar, and a great meal.Keep it up! You're all doing a great job!“
“My Queen and I having been coming to Friday over on Research place since we moved into the area and our experience has been AWESOME. We met Christine a year ago and maaaaan, does she make a MEAN DRINK. Most importantly her customer service skill are impeccable, thank you!. Overall our experience has been a very pleasant one.“
“My fiancee and I have been going to Northern Coast since shortly after it opened, and it never disappoints. This place is the definition of a "hidden gem", being in the lobby at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Stony Brook campus (you don't need to be a student to go, but students get a discount IIRC). Although it's right adjacent to the lobby with little separation, it's much more than your standard hotel eatery with lots of great New American dishes and a warm, comfortable, unique atmosphere.I've tried several dinner items, and all have been great so far, with reasonable prices, sizeable portions, good variety of styles, all fresh-tasting and "made to order". But, if there's one thing I always go back to, it's the roasted chicken. The skin is so crispy and it has a buttery au-jus that's just divine. It comes with some sauteed string beans that are sweet and flavorful as well. I'd also like to mention the pork chops, brussels sprouts, and the peach melba dessert as well. The service never disappoints, and at least when we went, the vibe of the place is calm and quiet (even with being next to the hotel's front desk). I dig the melodic chill/deep house from the hotel lobby, and I also love the style of the place, it's got a clean, colorful look that feels very "90s tropical". Screens are around that rotate through pictures of the food items. We usually eat there pretty late (it's refreshing finding a place that will stay open till 10PM), so I could imagine this place gets a lot busier and noisier at other times (like around college orientation/graduation, or brunch).I love this place and think it's a great addition to the area. Definitely give it a chance if you're in town!“
“The quintessential neighborhood bar. Lot's of regulars that work in the trades/union members. Good-natured banter all around. As a woman in a predominantly male bar, I was included in the conversation, and had a great time. The bartender went out of her way to recommend good places to eat and she felt like an old friend. Love her!“
“Ordered a few items from Rio Dulce on Father's Day. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was packed well for my takeout order. The portions are generous, priced well. The good is very tasty. The Sopes and taquitos are made well and have great flavor. We will definately be ordering again!“
“Honestly this Friendly’s location is my favorite they always make the food fresh and everybody it’s always friendly. I ordered three kids meals and they were made with such care. I will certainly be coming back to this location. Thank you and have a good night. I’ll see you soon. Again, good night sleep well sleep well. I’ll see you again soon. Good night again. See you soon. OK? Good night!! What are you still doing up?“
“We stopped here after going to an event my wife was at in Bayshore. Pretty good food. Actually. I didn't have a burger but I did have the pretzel sticks and chicken tenders with some cheese fries. My son got a s'mores milkshake and he loved it. I would probably come back here to actually have a burger. Otherwise nice place.“
“Good service and good foodThe waitress was very pleasant and gave us good service. Will definitely come back.Parking: Had to park across the street in parking lot. Side street was busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors for easy of entrance.“
“Happy to report the All American roadside hamburger stand is not dead. It’s alive and well in Islip. The friendly staff is up Serving no frills burgers, chicken sandwiches, dogs and sides in an unassuming road site location this place sparks up instant nostalgia. The food is simple and affordable and family friendly. They have limited seating inside and additional seating outside which is great when the weather is warmer. The perfect place to take the kids after baseball practice for a burger and a delicious milkshake. The shakes and the root beer floats should not be missed. This spot is a neighborhood gem!!!“
“Love Applebee's! The host Crystal was very nice and helpful! The manager Luis was rude and does not deserve to be in a management position. He treats his co-workers and team poorly!!!Kid-friendliness: The hosts and servers are accomodating to big parties with kids!“
“Foods good. I got the Texas toast burger... Which was good, the Texas toast part wasn't that great... Ususally I associate Texas toast with garlic butter on it.. This one was little stale no butter... Wish I got a regular bun... But the rest of it was very good. The ladies bartending was nice but they did talk amongst them self a good bit with alot of vugar and loud talk ? I think we caught them on a bad day... The bar was a fairly empty when we got there for lunch.“
“Where do we start ? Lunch or Dinner. Doesn’t matter. Dave the owner is a gentleman. Bobby , Bella & Phil are the tenders of the bar they will treat you good & make sure you are at home. “Papi” In the kitchen will make sure any and everything ordered comes out to perfection. Overall the gentleman & lady here are 10/10. Try the wings, brisket, jerk chicken nachos & the ? rocket fuels. Come in and enjoy the times.“
“Had the fried chicken with hot honey sandwich. It was delicious. Also had fries with parmesean cheese and truffle oil. Does pair well with garlic aioli as they suggest. Take out was fine in winter. Would be a happening place in the warmer weather.“
“A typical pub atmosphere. We got a nice corner spot by the window for my dad’s retirement dinner. The sausage soup and filet mignon looked delicious! I had the mozzarella chicken and I brought home plenty of leftovers. You of course need to have the pub cheese and toast. I’m so glad they put it out on the table! This restaurant has been a long time for my entire family.“
“IHOP of Commack has been our choice for Breakfast for years. We have been going with our kids and now with our grandkids. The food choices are many and breakfast is out favorite time with the grandkids from the funny face pancakes to the new Girl Scout Mint Chocolate Chip pancakes. The staff and the owners are always helpful and nice. There is plenty of parking but get there early cause there can be a wait.“
“First time visitors. Took family of five. We enjoyed our burgers and chicken, very unique taste. Staff was friendly and helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order. I forgot to take photos, hopefully next time. We will be back again soon. Thank you.“
“I don't usually buy fast food; but when I do, I choose five guys.I love that I can customize my sandwich online. I am an introvert, and this makes it easier for me to order.I introduced my sister to it, and she loved the Cajun fries and the option to add hot sauce and jalapeños to her burger. Love that we can add an extra pattie. The place is always brightly lit and clean. The workers are chill and friendly. I love looking at the art board while I wait.Parking: Open parking right in front. Close to the store“
“Will give you a fresh batch of fried chicken and your choice of the pieces (we usually get without wings). Usually very busy so expect to wait. Kids love it and the 26 pieces, with biscuits and 4 sides is well worth it.A few other things to try on their menu: Double Cheeseburger with Bacon and Hell Burger.Dietary restrictions: HalalWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking available“
“The service here is great. Very friendly staff, and the wait for the food is very short. The food is delicious, you can't really be disappointed. I always order a hot dog with sauerkraut. The hot dog is always very fresh and does not taste microwaved like other grilles. The food is fairly priced. They have this new rewards program which I am apart of since I go here very often.“
“Walter was the best drive through operator that I have ever encountered. This person deserves a promotion. His talents are wasted in his current position. Super friendly not pushing but suggestive. He is a definite asset to your or any other company.“
“was craving this place after work, ordered the chili cheese dog, the BBQ boneless wings, lemon pepper wings, burger fries combo that i saw online, fully loaded fries and a dessert all of which was split between a few people. The lemon pepper wings were nasty but i wasn't having high hopes for that flavor. The deal i saw online i was a little disappointed they didn't take the 4$ value that was posted online and instead charged 6$ for it. The rest of the food was good, I don't go to Checkers that often so when i do I go with a few people and try different things. Service was fast and the food was pretty good.“
“This place has very fresh and reasonable prices for the food you get. I’ve tried many different items and always satisfied. If you ordering for lunch just order ahead of time. One of my favorite lunches is the shrimp tacos. It’s a must try.“
“I've been a White Castles fan since I was four years old. This is where I ate my first hamburger and never looked back. White Castles ? taste good at any time of the day. I do miss the old school prices. White Castles hamburgers ? used to cost about 35 cents per burger ?. ????“
“Hi guys, Five guys again. Parking is convenient in front of the store, and it was very nice to eat by the window. Following the five guys hamburger for lunch, I tried it for dinner. If you come to Five Guys, of course you should eat a hamburger, and ketchup on the hearty French fries. And you have to eat one more free peanut to complete the course. Missing something? For in-store dining, you can sample a variety of Coca-Cola beverages. How about Cherry Coke today?Parking: Parking is available right in front of the store, and there are many shopping malls nearby, so free parking is available.“
“Food ReviI recently had the pleasure of dining at IHOP and indulging in their renowned pancakes, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. IHOP has always been synonymous with pancakes, and they definitely lived up to their reputation.First and foremost, the pancakes at IHOP were simply divine. They were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked to golden perfection. The batter had a slightly sweet flavor and a hint of vanilla, creating a heavenly aroma that filled the entire restaurant. The pancakes were so soft and tender that they practically melted in my mouth with each bite. One aspect that truly impressed me was the wide variety of toppings and flavors available. From classic options like blueberries, strawberries, and chocolate chips to unique creations like caramelized bananas and whipped cream, there was something for everyone's taste buds. I opted to try the strawberry and whipped cream combination, and I was beyond pleased with my choice. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and complemented the pancakes beautifully. The whipped cream added a luscious touch and added a creamy element to the dish. The portion size was generous, and I appreciated the fact that IHOP offers both single and double stack options. This ensures that diners can satisfy their pancake cravings without feeling overwhelmed. The presentation was attractive and inviting, with the pancakes stacked neatly on the plate, adorned with the chosen toppings. It was truly a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.Service at IHOP was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and willing to accommodate any specific requests. The pancakes arrived promptly, and my coffee cup was never left empty, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.Overall, I can confidently say that IHOP pancakes are a breakfast dream come true. The exceptional lightness and flavor of the pancakes, combined with the variety of toppings, make for a delightful and tasty meal. Whether you are a pancake enthusiast or simply seeking a scrumptious breakfast option, IHOP is a place worth visiting.“
“It was great! We'll definitely try to reserve a table at White Castle in Centereach for Valentine's Day again next year. The staff were all very nice and attentive, and it was cute that there was staff walking around to take your pictures“
“Although the staff is nice and the food is hot and fresh I do not like the they post signs everywhere stating 20 minute limit to enjoy your meal and anything after that is considered "loitering". Many seniors like to sit and talk and slowly enjoy our coffee and each other's company. It's a joke that this location does not realize this. You do not see these signs in other communities.“
“The menu offers consistently delicious options, and the spacious booths provide a comfortable dining experience. The exceptional service adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. It is a frequent occurrence for me to reunite with friends whom I have not seen in a while at this establishment, as we are able to relax and catch up without feeling rushed.“
“Really really awesome BBQThe brisket dinners are out of this world. The grilled chicken sandwich with spicy ranch is awesome as well.I just sat out front and ate some of their pastrami. They do only on Sundays way. Way better than Boar's Head or any pastrami? I've gotten locally. This place is awesome. Sauce literally“
