I went here for a lunch repast. Things were great; food, service, ambiance considering. Fixed menu, but everything was fresh and tasty. I had the cod, but the pork casserole was the hit I hear. I'd like to go back.
Le Charlot has a very pleasant setting and a very pleasant, attentive staff. Unfortunately it serves very mediocre food - not terrible, simply lacking in taste and careful preparation. Not one of the four dishes we ordered was even remotely good.

We've lived in Southampton for 11 years but drive to Sag Harbor and Hampton Bay often to dine. We avoided Le Charlot because of the terrible reviews, but decided to give it a shot one wintery off-season Monday Night.To our surprise, they offered an off-season prix-fix menu and $12 glasses of wine.
