Not sure how you got bacon to be so soft but my lord ??? it was Devine...We stayed nearby and I could smell the sausage and peppers ? I wished I had room in my stomach for it. “Oh my god. If you’ve ever watched Keith Lee’s food reviews and you know what I’m talking about when I say he takes a bite and his eyes roll back…that is exactly what happened to me when I ate here. I got the Asian rice with ribs and plantain and it was all fantastic. I will be dreaming about those ribs for a long time…or at least until I come back to get more. They were so helpful when I said it was my first time there and explained I can get whatever I wanted and however much of it I wanted. I fear I will be here once a week. Compliments to everybody working there it was so clean. They have a small groceries store in the back if you need any staples.“

“This place prepares meals all day long and serves them from a hot steam table. They have all kinds of items from yellow rice, Spanish rice, chicken, wings, egg sandwiches, regular deli sandwiches, french fries grilled cheese sandwiches, steak and cheese sandwiches you name it pretty much they’ll make it for you.
They have a small Mini Mart. There are Spanish oriented items there but everything looks fresh. The produce looks great. The shelves are fully stocked, and the floors are all clean.
The staff is very friendly and they speak English and Spanish. I stop at this place every time I take the Port Jefferson ferry over to this area.“

“The customer service was awesome, very friendly! The food was fresh and hot! The Chicken Caesar Wrap was really good although my bacon was not added. The 3 chicken tacos were awesome! The chicken burrito was good, except the egg was not necessary, without the egg it would be awesome!“

In addition, the store has an excellent variety of fresh Central American products, hot Hispanic food, they have a great variety every day.

“A very cozy place to spend after a good day of work, or to spend time anyway. A small detail that caught my attention was the fact of the prices, I attended on several occasions buying the same thing and the total price varied between 3~7 dollars (it was not the same person who charged for the differences already mentioned) apart from that It's a pretty good place with good selection of food.“

“First time at Hampton deli and had a great experience. I had the pleasure of meeting a very nice gentlemen named Terry. While our sandwiches were being made Terry and I had an awesome chat about fatherhood, life and hard work. My sandwich was solid, my wife loved her chicken fantastic. Unbelievable customer service, thanks Terry!“
“Food is awesome! My son & I get the large. I like the yellow rice, black beans & the chicken in the stew. My son always gets the yellow rice, black beans & empanadas. Today we both tried some fried breaded chicken as well. Excellent! We got 2 Arizona Ice teas 99 cent each. Total was $21. Can't beat that for a good lunch meal. ?“

“Been coming here often for lunch because of the awesome Kielbasa. Sean and Andy have become good buddies of mine and they provide great service to all. My only contention is with the thugs from Riverhead high who swarm the place like Zika-Infected mosquitoes when they get out for lunch. Most of the bad ones seem to have graduated, but it still is a bit annoying.“

“Nostalgia... I haven't been back to Whitney's Deli since 2001 since graduating high school there. Always enjoyed the lighthearted conversations with everyone there. Everyone always had a friendly smile. I especially loved and remember this homemade creamy pasta salad with sundried tomatoes. I wonder if they are still making it? Delicious. Highly recommend this deli, even after all these years. Wishing you -John, the fam and everyone well! Hope to make it back in one day!“

“My hubs grew up in Mastic and no trip home is complete until we get a TJ's Hero. We often get complete a breakfast run and a lunch or dinner run - sometimes in the same day! WE love TJ's it's been his favorite since his HS days and it never disappoints! Quality meats, excellent breads and friendly/awesome service will keep us coming back again and again. PLEASE TJ's open a satellite location in PA we would come all the time! LOL!“

“I don’t speak a bit of Spanish so when I first went in I was a little intimidated but the ladies there are so nice. They were super patient with me and even made suggestions. Everything I had was so good! I don’t normally even eat pork but my goodness it was excellent. Now I try to go at least once a week on my lunch break.“
