“Food was ok but service is a little complicated. They do try but a lot of the times is a misunderstanding on the orders or pieces you need. The spicy chicken is always darker. They are always training a new member. But I have to say I always been happy with my orders. I come to this place once or twice a month. The manager is a nice lady. Never had a problem. There is parking around the corner. They have 1 or 2 tables for eating inside but its better to eat in your car. This is where I dont understand people. THE UBER EATS PEOPLE please and I mean please stop confusing the order lady and stop rushing her, once this is done everything gets crazy and everyone is now confused and waiting more time. The place is clean. No bathrooms would recommend only in store i ordered online before and never get the right pieces you get.“

Food: 🍽 I'ma start with the first meal that I ever got from here. The Jerk chicken platter with salad over rice. It's was delicious and amazing with the right amount of spicyness. The rice and salad was delicious. It was even more amazing with their go to special sauce combinations of Caribbean Gold Sauce and Garlic Cilantro sauce. All of my orders get those 2 combo of sauces. Which goes amazing on everything specially their Fries and Tenders. The Jerk Chicken Tacos are also amazing. My favorite order now is the Fried Shrimp Platter with French Fries covered in Caribbean Gold Sauce and the Garlic Cilantro. There is also some amazing doughnuts options to choose from now but I have not tried them yet. They look amazing! I will definitely try those next time.

Price: 💲the Jerk Chicken platter is $11.99 and the Jerk Chicken Tacos are $6.99 for 3. The Shrimp platter with fries is $13. Most of their meals are around the $11 to $15 range.

Customer Service: 🧑‍💼 The staff is very friendly and will help you choose from the menu if it's your first time and you don't know what to get. I have been coming here for a while now so I have tried almost everything on the menu. So keep in mind it will take a few visits to try everything.

Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. “Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“El Rincón Dominicano is a restaurant in Hempstead known for its delicious Dominican and Spanish food. We ordered the chicharrón which was moist and crisp. Just the way it should be cooked. I had the grilled stead. It was very flavorful and tender. My niece had the skirt steak which was out of this world. The steak melted in your mouth. My sister-ion-law had the pernil which is her favorite. The food is cooked to perfection, and we left with plenty for another meal. The staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive, providing great customer service. Parking is a bit of an issue, but we were lucky in getting a spot in the lot. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you are offered. El Rincón Dominicano is well-loved by my family. While we live in NJ, we will visit again.“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“
