“My Wife and I saw this place while shopping at the Roosevelt Field Mall and never had it, so we decided to try. The server was very nice to us and gave us some suggestions and what was popular. We got the Works and Bacon Double chesse hot dogs and the pull pork poutine fries. The food was very delicious. We will definitely come back again for there food. Great job.“

“The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.“

“Granted, it's Christmas Eve. I suppose I should be thankful their open at all. But honestly surprised when the cashier would NOT give me a plastic cup for my bottle of Coke...even after I saw her give one to someone else for a beer! I had to ask the manager for one. The burger was great.“

“The staff is super sweet. We ordered on uber eats and I didn't select what kind of meat and they went out of their way to call and ask. Also while we were waiting they came outside into the cold to hand us the food. They go out of their way and their food is amazing! I would love to come back here again! “We placed an order for a smash burger without the cheese - the restaurant accidentally put cheese on it and I was quite upset because we confirmed it many times (lactose intolerance)… the person who helped me was super super nice, he re-made the entire order AND had it delivered to us for free, AND was nice enough to add courtesy drinks. “First time trying K-Munchies. Came in with my 3yo son and instantly greeted by the husband of the adorable husband-wife duo. Ordered the single smash burger and twist donut with Umma's coffee. He was such a humble and kind soul and even offered for me to wait in the car to which he would bring out the food for us but we opted to wait inside for the food and had a great conversation and a few laughs. Food came out quick and was delicious. Whatever that smashburger sauce is was so good. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the twist donuts. If you're in the neighborhood and need some comfort food to warm up the soul or be a glutton with a good ol' smashburger, this is the place to be. You also get a bonus of genuinely awesome people serving you.“

“I was looking for a new rasta pasta spot to meet my expectations and little did I know this location opened up in my area. I’ve had their pasta and oxtail eggrolls/empanadas. “I stopped by Dos Toros and ordered a carnitas burrito bowl, and it was definitely the best value on the menu. The portion was generous, and the staff didn’t skimp on any of the ingredients, which I really appreciated. The carnitas had great flavor—well-seasoned, tender, and not dry at all. The rice was also really good, cooked well and not just filler like some places tend to do.

My friends each ordered a taco, and while they enjoyed them, the portion size difference was pretty noticeable compared to my bowl. If you’re hungry, I’d definitely recommend going for something bigger.

The food overall was delicious, and I was especially impressed that the spicy sauce actually had heat to it. It wasn’t just labeled “spicy” with no kick—it delivered. If I ever find myself in this terminal again, Dos Toros will be my first stop.“

“Stopped here on a whim. My wife and I were going over to Texas Chicken and Burgers across the way for tenders, but saw the sign for this establishment and decided to come inside. We were rewarded by the very friendly service and great food. We got chicken over rice platters and an order of 4 lemon pepper tenders. Let me say that the amount of food they give you for $9.95, is greater that what one of the more visible Halal chains give you for $14.95. And it was just as good, if not better. The fried chicken tenders are amazing! They came out hot, fresh and were HUGE. Much bigger and less expensive than at the Wingstop a few blocks down the street.

We USED to go to Wingstop & Halal Bros. No longer. This is our spot.“

Parking is extremely difficult in this area, you have to pay for parking on the street whether you can find it or not. There are many buses passing by and it is a very busy area, always full of people.😬“

The server answered any questions I had and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor.Coming from the Island background of Jamaica I tried the Curry chicken wrap. It was so good, it didn't need no sauce. The server recommended the Butter chicken, and I came back 2 hours later to try it and he remembered my order. The food is freshly made to order. “Came in once last week and once yesterday, a bit later during the night. Since it was this late on a Sunday I didn’t expect the food to taste that fresh. Despite this, I still got my order tasting fresh and arriving quick (<5 mins) and could see workers diligently cleaning in the kitchen and a younger man wiping down all the tables, sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathroom. I had went inside the bathroom after he was done and it was spotless, something I would never expect to see from a fast food place. The manager was very nice and I could tell he’s trained his workers well. Will be coming agian.“

“Went here with my friends. We all enjoyed it. One of my friends mentioned this place being like subways(without Jared) but for pizza because of the options you have. I agree and honestly I can see the appeal. The pizza is definitely isn't the best in Queens but it's pretty decent and its very affordable. My buds shared a whole pie(plus some garlic breadsticks) and we spent around 25 dollars in total. Plus drinks are free if you are a student so that's a plus. If you are walking around the fresh meadows area, I'd give this place a try. Especially if you aren't alone.“

“Food was great as you can expect, was to hungry for a photo. First time we came they offered a sample of the Cole slaw for a try, and we bought it on our second time here and recommend it.

“This is a very good resaurant with plentiful, fresh food. The atmosphere is light and air, even though it's not large. The prices are reasonable, so it's the kind of place to return to frequently. We had Halal chicken over rice, which was great (and not too salty, as many of the food carts are). The fries that came with it were good. We're looking forward to going back for the chicken, burgers, and fish.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options such as felaffel over rice. I'm not sure how the fries are cooked, but I think they were cooked only in oil, so they should be good, too. The salad is vegetarian.“

- The quality of the salads is always fantastic. It's great that they include the lemon and bread. The dressing is good quality

CONS
- They ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS forget something. Whether its the bread, the extra dressing on the side that I ordered, the lemon, etc.
- Adding additional protein makes almost no difference at all somehow. I ordered a ceasar salad with grilled chicken and it was not enough chicken the first time. So next time I ordered one with 2x extra chicken - I could NOT even tell the difference? Am I being charged extra for what seems to be the same order? Cmon guys“

“Okay first of all Mashallah 😍. I was born in the generation of Halalbee’s. First off, I got my order quickly! The man I spoke with had a mask on, and the restaurant was perfectly COVID compliant. The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! I’d love to shake the owner’s hand, but that will have to wait until social distancing is behind us! I’m definitely bringing all my friends, and recommending this spot to my coworkers! No food photo cause I legit inhaled my meal!“

“Comparing all burgers in the fast casual space my standouts are Five Guys, Shake Shack, and In-N-out. The burgers are in no way as pretty as the latter 2 options but they more than make up for it in taste and in my opinion value.

I do enjoy the complimentary peanuts and the fact that when ordering online, your fries are only then put to fry to ensure freshness. It's not complicated because it doesn't need to be and if you hold it to that standard I think five guys is a great burger and alternative option to some of the other franchise chains in the country.
