“I love their Sunday brunch! We have been here for the regular Sunday brunch which is always very nice with a good selection, but their Easter Brunch was absolutely the BEST! The food was phenomenal with a great selection - skirt steak-yum, pepper steak-the best, eggplant parmigiana-wonderful, sausage and peppers, etc.
But the best was when the Easter Bunny came in. He went to each table, posed for pics, had eggs (with I guess a toy inside) for all the children, and what truly impressed me, a lady who had a little difficulty walking, the Easter Bunny happily escorted her back down the steps and to her seat after she had posed for a pic with him!
These people made it a wonderfully enjoyable Easter for all their guests.

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.“

Mike the bartender was a pleasure and treated me like I was a regular, speaking of regulars, there were a few of them there and they also treated me very nicely. “We had an intimate Repast at Farington's Cafe after the sudden death of my nephew. We were all so impressed with the food... a delicious salad and one of the best penne vodka dishes ever. These were followed by the main course...choice of lemon sole, flank steak or chicken parm. Each and every dish was superb! Beyond this, the compassion shown by the staff was so consoling. I recommend this restaurant to all. You will thank me!“

“Went here to watch as the Jets disappoint us all again for another loss (good game). Staff is great, food is good. Got a district burger and fries. Fries were excellent burger is good. Bartender was nice and attentive. Beer on tap was good, can't go wrong with a Guinness. Didn't personally care for the DJ playing "music" during commercials and halftime but didn't ruin the experience. Other than the drunk girl who was fairly promptly escorts out for adamantly asking strangers to buy her a drink the whole experience was quite pleasant.“

“My daughter had her prom on staten island. I needed a place for dinner while my husband and I waited. Googled and found Angel's Tavern. We invited a friend to join us. Haven't seen her in 10 years. We were there from 630 to close catching up and the staff never rushed us out. They were so nice and pleasant. We ordered fried calamari and the salad with mango and goat cheese. Both were delicious. I ordered the fish special which was monkfish, clams and mussels over pasta with red sauce. My husband had the bronzini and our friend had the salmon. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. The only reason that I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the sauce in my entree was too salty as was the sauce on the salmon. If that was fixed, this place can't be beat.“

“Very nice wedding venue. Attended my cousin's wedding here and was very impressed with the food, especially during the cocktail hour. Staff was quick to remove plates when the next course was ready to be served and the bartender on our side of the room made the rounds to each table to see who wanted a refill on their beverage. It was fun celebration.“

“I have been to Paradise Island once at the recommendation of an amazing beautiful woman that I don’t even know (jewelzbyDesiree) Upon arriving I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable, not like I wasn’t feeling judged like some other restaurants make you feel. I ordered pasta with sausage and broccolirabe and my bestie had some chicken dish that she is still raving about. The food and service are bar none to any other restaurant in Staten Island. The waitress made us feel like family but it was never like she was intrusive when she did come to check on us. The price was more affordable than expected as I alone know I had at least 3 martinis. I can not recommend this place more. This is coming to you from a 💯 Staten Island girl and food snob.“

Anyone who says they are rude and they waited 45 minutes for food, obviously has never been to a local establishment where everything is cooked to order. It’s not McDonald’s. I literally eat here between 4 and 6 times a week. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my family. I know everyone by name and they know mine. They even sit and have conversations with me if it’s not busy! This place is a true gem, which is why you might wait to sit on a weekend or at dinner time. There is nowhere better.
